Im impressed. They even use jargons (like Script kiddie) and the tools too. Very realistic

This is possibly the weirdest inaccurate unrealistic and highly glorified idea of what a hacker is. And also a very warped perception of reality and emotions and thought processes from the other actors like the villains in this story holding him hostage. You don't keep pressing fear into someone because they will find a plan to escape and tell rather than get the situation over with and fulfill needs. It isn't the fact that it should be real, but the actors should be more human rather than the entire point of the plot of Mr robot is to act mentally ill, antisocial, and shy. Which somehow gave every other actor the right to act horribly with minimal effort at all because they don't have to be perceived as normal by Elliot. Bad acting, boring, always high stakes and something different is happening rather than following the 1 storyline to take down F/E Corp or whatever it is now.
