Just saw the still of Roger spraying Tonys mouth with a spray, it was his own spray he kept for soraying the mouths of the girls he had to kiss, he said some of those girls were very pretty to look at, but often because they were in demand they didnt always have the time acquire the freshest of breath so l would pretend to offer them a sweet and get them to pop open their mouths and l would give them a quick squirt so we both felt comfortable.
He explained later, that many of the girls would have been out most of the night partying and their breaths reeked of drink and cigarrette smoke amongst other things ( urghhhh ) and what he sprayed with helped neutralise the pongs and sanitized the oral area.
Spoiled my images of some of the beautiful girls he had to kiss, he said he didnt mean all of them but quite a few. Some even got foul breath on purpose as a joke, onions, curry, garlic, etc, see Bond always prepared heh heh.

Awesome theme tune ! Along with the Sweeney, the best ever! My Parents split in 1972 and we (my Sister and Me) had to go to live with my grandparents on a very 'challenging council estate' on the border of Derbyshire. WE both adapted well, as we were raised well and taught ; 'manners and respect' ! This was my favourite Friday TV Show on a Friday , I also loved Robert Vaughn in 'The Protectors ! dx

Such TV series and music are no longer made. Is a big cult stamp over the entire program!

I still get shivers when I hear this! Watched this avidly as a 12 year old. Haunting, portentous... John Barry at his best!

This and Dr Who ...and The Thriller series of Brian Clemens in the seventies! Those harpsichord parts gave me the chills!

And the cars were so great, compared to the computerized de-smogged bland safety mobiles we're stuck with now.

The greatest tv opening theme ever

Amazing that until today I'd misremembered this theme as being played on a harpsichord. Someone on another video mentioned that it was actually a cimbalom, and they appear to be right, now that I've had another listen. Amazing instrument... the sound of Gollum!

Sadly times with a smile are less and less today - what fun this was to watch bet it was amazing to work on

A 1970 Aston Martin DBS and a Ferrari

As a six-year old boy in 1971 I really tripped out on this music and the short introduction showing both actors from young cildren to men. In my innocence, I found it very haunting, and, ironically so, my dad was killed in a neighbourly dispute so I rarely play this because it evokes such intense feelings about my dad!

Perfect, pure art. Timeless.

I barely remembered this lost Gem of a show! I purchased both seasons on DVD and I’m glad I did! A great show!

Seventies theme tunes.... like their own private hit parade.... this is up there with Robinson Crusoe theme (black n white one)
