The steps you need to take to own a firearm in Hawaii

What if you're an old person who wants to defend themselves ..some people of age have mental issues they deserve to own a gun yeh?

Problem is many people buying guns aren't right in the head, or do something stupid when times get hard for the person.

A person should pay attention to himself instead of others, but when they think they should be in control over anyone other than themselves they pull out a gun.

Not all gun owners are stupid, as some do need it, but many are.

Just crossed Hawaii off my vacation list.

Boy am I glad I live in a free state, without all these stupid and useless laws.

Foolish liberals who are trying to read the Second Amendment out of the Constitution by claiming it's not an individual right or that it's too much of a public safety hazard, don't see the danger in the big picture. They're courting disaster by encouraging others to use the same means to eliminate portions of the Constitution they don't like.

"Low gun death rate" is not synonymous with low crime rate. Hawaii has an organized crime problem. Considering most gun deaths are suicides, trying to correlate strict laws with low gun death rate is meaningless and disingenuous.

Time to tell Hawaii, NY CA MD etc that they are not entitled to their own version of the Bill of Rights. The Second Amendment says nothing about hunting or permits. Time for SCOTUS to put an end to this illegal and unconstitutional nonsense.
