I had a near miss with 2 hawks last week with my drone. They came close but did not attack. They are pretty fast! Yesterday, I saw one attack my buddies pigeon and he wasn't more than 20 feet away from his bird that landed in the tree near his coop! The hawk crashed into the branches and hit the bird which fell to the ground but the hawk did not follow it down perhaps because it saw us running toward the pigeon. Crazy! LOL!

Beginner mistake. If you face any predator bird ever, you need to ascend as quick as possible. The higher in the sky, the higher the status in bird land. If you fly higher the bird won't attack the drone.

What is the "attack"? It seems to slow down so is it biting or using it's claws? Dive bomb with beak?
