You misunderstood something. Religion will tell you that you are supposed to sick it up and move on so you can serve God. That's a lie. God wants to restore your soul, not kill it. It's in your walking through the grief and trauma; that's your testimony. That's what he wants. Don't bury it. Walk it out. This is how I live my life. That's why I am transparent. I don't believe religious people know God's heart at all. That's why I am still alive. He's not like what they said. He is kind.

That's why religious people are mean. That's why I don't like church people very often. God met me in my hell and walked me out of it. He didn't judge me. He loved me. He helped me. He is different than what you think. That is why I don't quit on you. He met me in my hell, with my demons. My very real demons. I love you.

I was mostly nuts when he stepped in. I didn't do the steps other Christian's said. But he was there for me. Just like he's there for you. I told him that I thought I hated him. He said, " That's not me. That's a religious concept of me." My relationship with God changed after that.

We go nuts because our hearts and soul can't process the pain or grief. It just kept piling on. He restores our sanity, bit by bit. A person that feels crazy is usually more sane than the people thar think they are fine. They are not fine. They are blind. You're fine, actually. Brokenness, is not the end. It's a new birth actually. You become who he created you to be to begin with. A nervous breakdown simply means you can no longer wear your mask. Your energy is gone. Love you. Going for now.

This song and message found me while in a deep hole. Things are on the up climb at this time. However, my 10 yr daughters asked me why I am playing this over and over and over. My reply was ultimately Jesus is my healer and redeemer, but this song sung by this gentleman is soothing and calming to my soul as I heal.
