Popped onto my suggestions and immediately gone to unrecommend button to how, well abysmally dogshit this opinion is. Claiming both Hot Pursuit and Rivals to be the worst games? You’re joking right? I loved both games while growing up, with no customisation shenanigans that turns any car into an abomination, simple yet very much fun gameplay though does get repetitive sometimes but that only flares up like constantly playing for at least a month and a half or so.
Hot Pursuit was very much easy to learn with satisfying car audios, visuals of Hot Pursuit aged really well that I would think it’s a recent addition to NFS, it’s honestly crazy to give an opinion of Hot Pursuit when you haven’t even experienced the full game lmao with only being like on the third, fourth mission lol. When it comes to game modes, I’d say it’s plenty combined with Multiplayer. With Interceptor missions not being fixed on one path but letting the AI or yourself the racer choose to how to escape. “A Lack of Routes” my Ass, There’s many things I could list out like the iconic Turbo sound, always sends chills man, to the very much satisfying drifting mechanics being solid, simplicity is king. being able to drift a turn perfectly really does get my dopamine pumping. but one point that I would point out for sure that I am very much thankful Hot Pursuit does not have a full tuning bullshit though however, personally liveries or some form of visual customisation like stickers would be welcomed. full body kits that you would see on Unbound however I would detest. Radical Customisation canting or shitty body kits that makes cars look like they come from China is not always a must in an Need for Speed game, it’s a game of “Need for Speed,” NOT “Need for more Customisations” . Hot Pursuit lets you know what you’re driving and lets the car of your choosing of a large selection itself gleam with sleekness as it speaks to you of what it’s capable of through the speed and handling and the audio. A game of car enthusiasts I’d say ngl.
When it comes to Rivals, initially I didn’t like it but it really did grow on me overtime, and now I love the game, sure with how difficult the game is to learn, I’d say it’s worth it for the satisfaction of busting of escaping successfully from a very aggressive Rival heh, yes it’s essentially the same blood as Hot Pursuit 2 but the difficulty has been raised up, with the essence of “Need for Speed” is what you really need to escape your rival. Visuals can be hit or miss but I’d say both games does fairly well in their unique ways with more serious colour palette with Rivals, pairs nicely with the short lore we got with how ruthless both sides are, while Hot Pursuit has an Arcady esc vibe plus the car selection is great. One wish there was more cars like the Pagani Cinque in rivals. Could be an unpopular take but If only if the game wasn’t rushed, I’d say this game could’ve been one of the best equally BUT slightly better to Hot Pursuit with some bug fixes and optimisation.
With not bothering to play the new additions of NFS such as Payback, Unbound, I can already tell I’ll stop playing within like a week or so with how surprising the drifting mechanics look incredibly unsatisfying albeit the sense of speed is retained but personally it ruins it for me with the visual overload in particularly Unbound. in addition of having to wince of seeing for example, a classic Lambo I forgot the name of become, an abomination in terms of body kits driving around, it’s simply not my game. With Payback, personally was burnt out with how weak the entries after Rivals were. When it comes to the stories, it’s a hit or miss too.
I genuinely hope NFS do bring back a game that has the Hot Pursuit formula as its focus back.
I haven't played Need for Speed Rivals but I saw the campaign, online, etc. It's at the second most epic game I wanted to play someday. Maybe Need for Speed Mobile will compare or reuse the same way to Need for Speed Rivals.
ОтветитьHot pursuit has the crown vic
Rivals dosent
However
Rivals has the modern charger
Hot pursuit has the old one
So idk theyre both good
I would buy a Rivals remastered
ОтветитьHot Pursuit is the only one I've played. Love it.
ОтветитьNFS hot pursuit is my personal GOAT. hot pursuit 2 is second.
Ответитьplease, laugh less or silently, thanks.
ОтветитьNeed for speed rivals is the best
Ответитьi knew Theo loves Chiddy Bang
ОтветитьI remember Rivals was tough! GOnna download again now!
ОтветитьI really miss the old heavy handling. It made the cars feel powerful, meanwhile the new games feels slower as you can just steer a 1000kg car going at 300kmh in just a few seconds...
ОтветитьNeed for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2010 🖤!
ОтветитьHP 2010 it's a near perfect game.
ОтветитьYeah no I completely disagree, I played both and I much prefer Hot pursuit. You don’t need customization or a story to have a good game, there is progression and you unlock cars along the way which gives you a sense of accomplishment for ranking up. I actually prefer the no modification in that game because it allows you to focus on just driving the cars and listening to the awesome sounds they make rather than throwing upgrades on everything. Hot pursuit and rivals are both good games but it’s ultimately up to your opinion. You like rivals and I like hot pursuit neither are right choices and neither are bad. You are 100 percent wrong to call hot pursuit the worst nfs though
ОтветитьLol 🤣 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐💪
ОтветитьEasily Criterion's Hot Pursuit, at least you can pause the game to do something else more important.
Rivals requires your undivided attention all the time since the game can't be paused and cops are relied on cheap tactics and too aggressive, I was leaving the game on to grab something to eat and car parked in front of the garage by the time I returned I was sent back to the safehouse/garage menu possibly due to cops arrested me for basically chilling out.
Rivals is basically an edgier Hot Pursuit to a fault.
Rivals cops aren’t even that scary unless there is a player involved
ОтветитьNeed for speed world still king 🎉
ОтветитьI enjoyed rivals alot to the point i own it on steam ps4 and xbox one
ОтветитьRivals +
ОтветитьILOVERIVALS and RIVALS have a graphic mod called PLUS and it made NFS RIVALS WONDERFUL!
ОтветитьI played both games on PS3 (Rivals +) and thinking about buying them again for PS4PRO. Did they port the policechatter to the controllerspeaker? I like this very much in NSF Heat.
Ответитьseriously i know we all have our own opinions and stuff, but this dude pmo...
ОтветитьI'm sorry but Need for Speed Hot Pursuit had better music and better music variety and better pursuit score.
ОтветитьI think it's safe to sum up that NFS has two key pillars; the classic, super cars, dream experience. The kind of action that you would experience when playing with toys, is the kind of action you get with Rivals, Hot Pursuit, and the OG games prior to Need for Speed Underground.
It IS true NFS. It's hyper realistic and you will never get to go as fast as you can, in these games.
You know what other game does this, that you love?
Driveclub. It has the EXACT SAME formula, just with slightly different composition. And you LOVE that game Theo.
But, Underground, MW, Carbon, 2015, Payback, Heat and Unbound are also another pillar of NFS, with customisation and expression as part of their identity.
Personally, the newer games haven't hooked me in as much, mainly because of how boring the story is, or how barebones the gameplay is.
If the newer NFS games were like Most Wanted, in terms of difficulty and style, then I'd love them, but they're not, and for that reason I don't really like them.
Rivals and Hot Pursuit on the other hand have aged like fine wine; brilliant cops, amazing cars, I feel like a little kid again. Rivals, you have pretty much the cops of Most Wanted, with the rich cars of the OG games.
A lot of the fandom likes one or the other, more people enjoy the customisation because these are the more popular Need for Speeds and have sold more, but from an unbiased perspective, Hot Pursuit and Rivals have way more hours from me, than Heat and Unbound. Simply because of how simple, elegant, stylish and uncluttered the game is.
Either way, these two are not the worst Need for Speed games...nor are they deserving of the hate. If you want to hate a game as much...hate Undercover.
That game is a dumpster fire.
Also I don't understand what you mean by more game. Every NFS since 2015 has been 2 steps forwards, 1 step back. Save for the customisation, the cops suck, the races suck, the games are grindy, there is no incentive to play when finished, not really fun with friends, autolog was removed, no social connectivity, worse online, can't play as cops....and, you get new experiences because both of these two games have FULL. LOBBIES. Rivals, every game I joined, full lobby. Same with Hot Pursuit.
Theo, it just seems you hate on these two games too much, it's unwarranted, look at the game for what it is, and what the main message is, not customisation customisation....because compared to these two, Undercover, Payback, and 2015 are dogshit.
Rivals feels like if need for speed hot pursuit had a open world 😅
The only annoyance about Rivals is that it always liked to disconnect 😂
I respect his decision but has he even played hot pursuit/remasterd some of the things he said were wrong such as open world which they both have or when he said you can make circles or menovers to avoid cops which both have, and the person who played hot pursuit just sucks at the game one of the first time i played it the drifts were good I done not like a ship, yes some cars are heavy such us porshes but nfs is trying to make it more realistic but also fare.
ОтветитьThe glazing is also crazy
Ответить1min into the video and the answer should be HOT PURSUIT no matter what
Ответитьhot pursuit is so boring
ОтветитьHOT PURSUIT IS BY FAR THE BEST
ОтветитьRivals is a buggy mess compared to hot pursuit.
ОтветитьNgl ifw rivals
ОтветитьThis a bad take ngl hot pursuit better
ОтветитьAll nfs cops their goal to catch and arrest the racer except rivals their goal is to kill the racers with their pursuit tech 😂😂❤❤ that's why i love it
ОтветитьAmazing games, rivals my favourite :)
ОтветитьThese two are honestly my favorite games in the entire NFS series, along with Carbon
ОтветитьNeed for speed hot pursuit WII version🫶
ОтветитьMe personally i think that for "cars" hot pursuit should have got a point. I think that because while normally playing Rival you re gonna use about 5 cars in your career mode because its just racing and buying a car but in Hot pusrsuit unlocking cars works different. While reaching certain bounty points you unlock a car and you can drive it without spending any money with no exceptions. So in my opinion Hot pursuit takes the cake🍰
ОтветитьIf only Rivals didn't come locked to 30fps and bad aliasing... Oh what could've been. I mean yeah mods and fixes are here not but the game is well and done. No point :(
ОтветитьOn my way to 100%, both
ОтветитьNFS HP2010 is my favorite. HP2010 is not an open world racer and its part of the reason why I love it.
ОтветитьI love hot pursuit it takes skill especially online I play it daily now. The adrenaline that I get is insane. I need to try out rivals too we need a remaster of it
ОтветитьI liked music in HP, its gives vibes and rememberable, especially Edge Of The Earth
Ответитьhot pursuit might be having a better dlc also
ОтветитьI decided to finally roll credits for the first time in Rivals on my Ps5 after first starting the game almost 10 years ago on my ps4, don’t know why I didn’t do it sooner, forgot how much fun this game was!
ОтветитьI love Rivals for its chaos, if it wasn't for the fact that Hot Pursuit and Rivals have no customizations they would have been my favorite nfs games. Personally I love these 2 games more than any other nfs games, dear God I said it.
ОтветитьNeed for speed Rivals❎️
Need for speed Advanced Warfare ✅️
