I get hyped for the lip kit every year, but every year the majority of the shades are not darker skin-friendly. I dislike having colors I have to use 3 other products to actually make it work for my skin. 😢

When you mentioned the Merit lipstick in L’avenue being too dark, I immediately wanted to share with you a favorite lip combo! The merit lipsticks layer really well on each other because of their thin formula. Try layering L’avenue with the colour baby in the same line. It makes such a pretty rosewood colour for fall!!

I've never considered buying one of these before but I really think I will get a couple of them. I have 3 daughters, 1 step daughter and 2 daughter -in-laws to buy for at Christmas time. Can we please stop with the ‘clean’ beauty trend?! Can we just say ‘no scientific preservatives?’ Clean beauty actually works good for people with a small makeup set though. I just caution you if you have a large collection the product will go bad before you can use it. I did buy the pink set and can say I love what I got. I buy the lip sets every year and I love them. ❤ These sets are so much fun.

I have gotten to the point where I won’t buy anything from Sephora/Ulta until I know what your opinion is first. You’re the best! ❤ Also the editing of this video is on point.
