How do polarizing lenses work when viewing a source that also has a polarizing filter. I have noticed that I sometimes have to remove my glasses or turn my glasses to see the numbers on the pump at some fuel stations.

How do i clean scratch photo chromic lenses

I just bought a pair of polarized STNGER glasses and they were about 100$. Very comfortable and durable. My only concern is the shade of them? I'm a truck driver and I kinda feel they should be a bit darker. I feel like I should be able to stare directly into the sun without having any discomfort. They're dark enough where from the outside looking in, u can barely see my eyes. Am I over thinking it or should I reconsider darker polorized glasses?

Thank you for this video. One question, If I get polarised prescription glasses (not sunglasses), do they go as dark as transition glasses or do they change colour at all when in the sunlight?
I have transition glasses and they become tinted quite a lot when I go out, and I was wondering if this would happen if I got polarised lenses.

I recently got a pair of sunglasses and my optom said they are painted, so he painted them a brown color but it still seems too bright when I go in the sun. Would painting then a darker hue help? Also, are most sunglasses we usually buy from the shops simply tinted? And is tinted lens the same as painted?

Hi Colin! Recently my new prescription lenses changed cause a lot of distortion causing discomfort. The distortion a.k.a fishbowl effect is only at the bottom half of the lenses…

R sph from -4.25 to -5.00 cyl from 0 to -0.5
L sph from -3.75 to -4.25 cyl from 0 to -0.75

Will my eyes adopt to it or is there any other options. The optician doesn't even take my pantoscopic tilt measurements unlike the previous optometrist.
