i just reject these bland boring commandos as the Deltas

I dont know why they used Scorch. If anything Fixer would be better suited for this role. He is a lot more uptight. More "good soldiers follow orders" type.

I always just headcanoned that's how Boss heard Scorch. But in the end, they all canonically sound the same.

If you read the books, you'll notice a horrific breakdown that Sorch went through after Sev died/was left behind. It was depicted 100 times worse than what we saw in the game. On that day, he lost his soul.

I absolutely hate the fact that Scorch is voiced by Dee Bradley Baker rather than his original voice actor.

his voice in Republic Commando was only to differentiate which squad member was talking. ALL clones have the same voice. His voice was most accurate in Bad Batch. It wouldn't make sense to have his voice from the game.

I honestly think they should bring back the OG voices for the Commandos of Delta, they so iconic to the fandom. Raphael Sbarge will always be scorch. I know it highly unlikely but Morrison, Cook, Sbarge and Chaikin should have at least been potentially contacted and asked to lend their talents.

I like that we're getting closure for Delta Squad out of the new canon; even if it is bittersweet.
I do find it funny though that Scorch (the literal clown of the squad) is the one they keep relying on for getting sh*t done.
In a way, it just puts into perspective just how effective the Deltas are even when they're alone.

Scorch is so different than the wisecracking demo expert we knew in Republic Commando. Did Kashyyyk affect him so badly that he retreated into this stoic shell of a soldier ruthlessly following orders? Did he blame Boss and Fixer for abandoning Sev so much that he took an assignment that further broke them apart? Maybe following orders distracts him from the survivor's guilt telling him he should have been with Sev when he needed him most. This is all assuming Republic Commando's ending is even canon, but it makes for interesting speculation.

I feel like we need some kind of "Tales of the Clone Wars" episode where the entire Delta squad is featured before and after Sev gets left on Kashyyyk. I wanna know why Scorch is all by himself and serious and the the clones are the best characters anyway; it's an easy win. Maybe one day we'll get a new RC game, a remake or a re-canonized version of the events of RC.

Thats not scorch at all. He doesnt have the same voice actor that went on to voice kaiden alenko in mass effect.

He is a clone

there are two reasons why delta squad sounded different in the game:

1) mechanically - so the players can distinguish between them.

2) lore - they had a filter so boss can tell them apartbwhen giving orders.

of course we don't hear the filter outside of the helmets and it's quite absurd that people expect clones to sound different outside of gameplay necessity.

I knew it was a long shot, but I kind of wish they could have gotten Scorch's original voice actor from the game to reprise the role here.

We’re is his voice!?!? They had to be loyal to the voice used for other clones but they weren’t loyal to temuora Morrison with republic commando so why!?!? His voice why!?!?

Just so y'all know, this Scorch is not the same as Republic Commando Scorch. RepCom is not Canon, stop trying to mix the two timelines. Don't ruin Legends with the Disney Canon stuff please.

I miss his republic commando voice , but it makes sense for him to have a regular clone's voice. Im honestly more annoyed hes holding a regular DC-15s and not a DC-17m
