The problem with DLSS is that the reflections definitely take a hit in quality. It becomes way more blurry.

Rtx 4070ti is designed for 1440p(2k) resolution. DLSS 3 is good. Nvidia 4000 series gpu perform ray tracing well.

The people who dont care about ray tracing, lighting effects, they can buy AMD cards.

I want pathtracing so bad and I am almost picked a 4070ti over a 7900xt because of it... but in reality the performance hit is too big. Getting 120 FPS is a bigger deal than enabling Path tracing IMO, but hopefully we can get both next generation in the mid range.

What about 1080p?

My 3060 gets only 60fps high settings DLSS Q 1440p, the generational leap is insane, buying a pre-built with 4070 ti in a couple months.

Nvidia recommends the integer mode for 1440p or higher on their site. "Designed for 1440p gamers."

The Stuttering you had at 4K is happening with Frame Gen breaks. I fix it by disable/enable it in the options and then it's back to working state.
I've seen this happen on other games as well. (on a 4090).

Shame that NPC still don't have proper shadows

I've never used dlss on anything other than quality. Are you losing a lot of detail at performance and ultra performance on 4k?

How does the frame generation feel at 60fps? I've heard somewhere that it's not good if below 80fps or so

Have you tried 1080p with DLAA 0.50?
I might be going crazy but it looks stellar on my 4K OLED with 4070Ti. 🤯

Caution Please.... Listen... I have a RTX 4070TI Gigabtybe 12gb. Listen! Don't play this game until Nvidia updates there drivers. Caution your GPU will overheat and probably melt the PCI pins. My Gpu is already having conntection errors. Make sure you run the game with DLSS only! My Pc almost literally die. Let Nvidia know. Do not OVERCLOCK YOUR GPU for this game Safety.

So this would be the best option :
RT balanced than Ultra, but Tracing on.
I still expect the newest 4070 can run 1440p great quality.

Rather have native over DLSS.
