I'm starting to believe maybe history teaching isn't what i really want to do. Which is concerning seen as I've had this planned out since I ended college (I'm now final year uni) i appreciate the video and how in depth you went with the ins and outs of pgc
Cheers

I’m starting my biology pgce this September! I have a degree in biomed, nhs experience and a year of preschool experience so I’ve been on a bit of a journey of self-discovery! I feel you with wanting to do medicine because back in school it was the plan but life has taken some turns and teaching seems to be the right next step! Glad I found your video! Thanks for the advice and best of luck with med! ❤️

What time did you start and finish the day (officially). Were you expected to stay beyond the last lesson of the day - parents evenings, after school clubs? I’m going to have to juggle a 4-year-old too.

For an overseas teacher living outside UK & having neither a work permit nor a national insurance number, does that mean she is not entitled to apply for a teaching post in UK?. As to the QTS, can it be obtained online? Does it have an expiry date? Where may I get materials to study it? Can I submit a proof of enrolment and work till I receive the certificate? Is there any exceptions for teachers from QTS or any other alternatives? What’s the shortest time to get QTS?Can you teach while earning it? Is there a table that clarifies the diff. Bet. Pgce and qts esp. with regard to the requirement of each?

Hiya! I am starting my PGCE now in September. I know the workload is heavy but did you have anytime to do things for yourself? eg- Go to the gym etc. Really nervous that it will take over my life completely haha. Just hope I can still do some things for 'me' so that I can stay relatively sane lol xx

Or 1 month after the start of the course?

Hi Lydia, I am an international candidate. I am offered pgce in u. K. For the coming September intake. As no bursaries are available for international candidate, I will have to do part time job to help myself. Do you think that it will be possible with the pgce work load? Please guide me.

I previously once wanted to be a high school teacher, but have now changed my mind, since I think it's too stressful, and too much work to prepare for students, and lots to pay as well.
I Don't want to anymore.

I just went back to teaching. I get more respect, they can tell I'm a teacher doing cover supervisor I think. Some schools prefer a cover supervisor to a qualified teacher. I personally would not recommend a PGCE in hindsight, I'd go for full-time in school.

So much respect for your determination and hard work. I think you'll really enjoy Medicine and your experience will definitely give you a lot of confidence when you start clinical attachments and are working with patients. More than happy to have a chat if you want to discuss anything about medical school/careers at that stage (medic here as well!).

Really enjoy watching your videos as well. I feel both motivated and more cheerful after I've watched one of your videos - looking forward to more of your uploads!
