and another is on class "studentOptions"
how would you change the scene then

I'm having a problem with buttons
I created 4 buttons which will lead to 4 different scenes
and I want to add a common home button as children in those 4 scenes
but only one of the scene is showing home button while rest of them are not.
why is this happening?
is it becoz we can't add same button in different scenes?
please help.

When using a StackPane in layout 2, it would seem you can not add a label with button 2 as with the Vbox...

Crazy how I was taught just these lessons from up to here and I was assigned to create a whole brand new GUI that has a text box and prints images of the amount of clubs, spade etc specified on the text box

Can anyone explain me why declare Stage window in line 11 but not use directly primaryStage ?????

If you're getting a "cannot find symbol class" for VBox or Label error, you need to import them add this to your code:
import javafx.scene.control.Label;
import javafx.scene.layout.VBox;

But I've been stuck with switching scenes using fxml files and controller, I was about to ask weather or not he will make a video on this but then realized he has been missing for 3 years.
