Petrol high or low...ecomical?
ОтветитьIt is good to see you reviewing this, as I think that we are of similar dimensions. I went to Motorcycle live 2023 yesterday, sat on the current model, and was struck by how comfortable it felt. Nothing else was anywhere near as comfortable or natural feeling for me. I did feel that it was a little on the high side for me, but that could well be due to the way it was displayed. When I make room for another bike, I will definitely be looking to test ride one.
ОтветитьPs... Really like your reviews
ОтветитьI am really struggling!!! I haven't had a bike in 10yrs. I had a hornet 600cc naked. I know I want a adventure bike (for the road).
I love the look of the BMW GS but don't want a very old one, then I saw your reviews of the Chinese bikes. I have no issue w brand.
I want a good,relaible adventure bike that can do 70mph w 2 people w.out issue that costs around 6k..,....,. thoughts 😊
Appreciate this review was a couple of years ago but any thoughts on why these bikes are so cheap used?
ОтветитьHi, can anyone who owns a TRK502 give me any feedback on handlebar vibration levels, as I suffer from tingling hands if the bike is buzzy, grip puppies are ok but they make the grips a tad fatter. Thanks , James
ОтветитьHi Mark. Love your reviews. I'm returning to riding after 20-odd years. 5ft 9"/105kg. Looking at Benelli trk502x, Honda 500 cbx, Kawasaki klr650 and CFmoto 650mt. Adventure touring/half lap of Australia (next year). Not too much off road, but enough to get to more remote camping places. I live in Australia. All are around the AU$10,000 mark here, apart from the CFmoto (which is about AU$8000). Any recommendations/suggestions? Any help/guidance would be appreciated. Cheers. Peter
ОтветитьThanks Mark for the review ✌🏻😊
ОтветитьSo had mine a while now, had zero problems getting the parts, or service parts motogb have been great as has Google, don't always get them instantly but not had to wait more than 10 days. Riden in all weathers keep it vlean and its fine. 👍
ОтветитьThank you for this review. I'm a newer rider, but 6'4" 35 inch inseam 220 lbs. I've been looking for my first bike all week and I never felt anything as comfortable as bike. It's so easy on the hips, and I feel like I have complete control over the bike. This review helped me in the buying process.
Ответитьcomparing this to CF Moto 650 MT, i see there are about 1k aprt in price, MT being cheaper. which one would you pick for general use, touring, maitenance costs / built quality?
ОтветитьSo I bought one of these and it's been great, see earlier comment, had a slight tumble in the rain, the crash bars work really well, doing 39/35mph just needed a new crash bar, left side, gear selector and scuffed the foot peg, and side stand,no other damage. 👍 It's well made. The shad 3p frame system got a tiny scuff too. Lucky I didn't have the boxes on!. Still got me home, I'm getting 65mpg too, more when sliding 😁.
ОтветитьIt sounds terrible 🤷♂️
ОтветитьJust chopped in my Himalayan in for one of these, had heated grips fitted and have put shad 3p cases on 800miles in all good so far fitted fender extenders and an aluminium engine guard to protect the bottom end from the road crap, hopefully it will last as well as the Himalayan. Great so far needed something better on the motorway. Great review honest and down to earth. 👍
ОтветитьGreat review. Thanks for the info. Helped me make the decision to buy one.
Ответитьin 2023 i see they are £6299 :(
ОтветитьGreat review Mark as usual I have the 400 imperiale it's brilliant reliable never let me down this looks even better
ОтветитьHi Mark
Wondering if there is gonna be a test od benelli trk 502 X ?
I've just seen one if these at a dealer. That's a lot of bike for just over £5k. And they look far better than the price would suggest! As a budget tourer they seem to have a lot going for them. I'd like to see the X model. Good work Mark.
ОтветитьThis is quite a cheap bike ,yet it has twin discs,,why are so many bikes just having single ,I,m thinking of the Triumph street twin
ОтветитьGreat down to earth review. I test rode the 502 a few years ago when they were first released here in Australia. I placed an order for a 2022 model last Friday. At 61 I'm a mature age rider and feel the midrange 500s are ideal Solo machines for Touring. I'll be having the Givi made alloy Panniers fitted too. At 184 cm and 130 kg this Bike fits me like glove!
ОтветитьThis bike out sell all Japanese and euro bikes In my place. Great value for money, nicely made, it's the bike you keep on riding👍
Ответитьanother perfectly itemized test ride with no smart ass usa personality !
Ответитьfront wheel size tops it off beautifully !
ОтветитьHi Mark, wonderful walk through as always. Tell us please, you've roadtested this, the voge 500ds , the cb500x . Which of these do you prefer and why.
You're the same height and build as myself so be really great to hear from you.
My only worry with the voge is the lack of parts or at least delays in getting them
There is no world where that bike qualifies as a dual sport...
Ответитьtop speed is 102 apparently, the trouble with these bikes is they lose value hand over fist , some bike shops wont p x them,
ОтветитьHi Mark, how's your TRK502 after 1 year? Has any rusting occured on your bike?
ОтветитьPity they do t do a 750/ 800cc version ,would not really cost anymore to produce apart from tooling
ОтветитьAfter having ridden both, what in your opinion is better, this Benelli or the CFMOTO 650 MT?
ОтветитьAs soon as he mentioned made in China I lost all interest but thanks for the review
ОтветитьIam getting 1. Great video
ОтветитьThanks a bunch! They are selling these now in America and I was looking for info and you have definitely delivered .
ОтветитьSounds like a good bike at a great price. Nice video.
ОтветитьTest rode this exact model today in the blue and I have to say wow, what a lovely bike! I was interested in the Leoncino 500 to be honest and thought I’d have a go on this to at least experience the engine and general quality of the new Benellis.
This is £500 more but I’m pretty much sold on it. Comfortable, smooth and plenty fast enough for this 65 year old.
Tour of the beautiful UK here I come!
The switch gear looks like it comes from a Shepherds Bush Market Toy stall LOL
ОтветитьVery precised review and awesome bike for commuting and touring!
ОтветитьOMG I was firmly set on a 650 like the Tracer, Versys or TigerSport but costs spiralled up to well over £9,000 for all 3 so started looking again and fell on this - thanks Mark - as with my Zontes 125, think you have helped me make a good decision
ОтветитьHey Mark!
do you know if there were any issues with the older models produced in like 2017/18?
btw great review:)
Hey geez, I've got the X version in yellow and it catches every eye. 4000 miles in and not even an itch. Reliable, fuel economy is so great, it seems too good to be true, fast for its weight and better handling than I thought.
I've also got the 752s in green. Love em both.
Can you give some comparison to the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 which is close to the same horse power?
ОтветитьNice Bike! Bought one few weeks ago and enjoying it very much!
ОтветитьPillion seat looks comfy!!!. Very rare these days lol may have to do a test ride if the wife likes it job done ha!!.
ОтветитьThanks for the comprehensive review......am picking mine up on Saturday after test riding it last week 👍
ОтветитьYet another highly informative review. I saw a few of these in a showroom in county Durham. Very impressive. Too many nice bikes around. Too much temptation. You are as always my favourite reviewer with your down to earth non biased approach to each bike you review.thank you.
ОтветитьExcellent review Mark - I’m looking at the X model too so am a little torn between them at the moment. Though one thing is abundantly clear, this modern generation of bikes has made us all spoilt for choice. I’ve ridden many bikes over 40+ years but as I get older have realised less is often much more. My high speed days on Superbikes are over and I just want something easy and fun to ride at a reasonable pace on rural roads mainly. From your review, and many others, it’s apparent this is a cracking little bike and incredible value for money. Can’t wait to try one!
ОтветитьI love trk502 very much
ОтветитьHello Mark
I have a TRK 502(2021)
Right now I only go out with the bike on the weekend, and I always have to charge the battery first.
Does this happen to your bike too?
If I don't ride the bike for 2 weeks it won't start
I have a Yamaha yec-9 charger, can you tell me if it is safe for the bike to charge the battery for 7 days in a row
thanks
moneys just gone out of my account for the 2022 version I cant frikking wait will be sad wave bye bye to my triumph speed four but my first new bike cant wait lol tired of secondhand and all the problems
ОтветитьNice review, I have decided after a lengthy process, to purchase a leftover 21 TRK502 road model.
