I had a Pi 3b and was using it with no problems on my Samsung smart tv and now I finally made the change to Pi 4 (4gb) and it will not read the signal.
It works perfect on my computerscreen.
How do I make the tv read the signal?
And setting to boost it or make it "talk Samsung"?

Anyone who knows how to add systems like Atari Jaguar and make it work?

Is cheats enabled for any of the emulators?

For me to enjoy a lot of retro games these days, cheats are 100% must.

I was able to be accepted into VMANs forums, but for the life of me, I haven't figured out how to actually download something. Is there some hidden secret buried in the welcome read me first or something?

Great build, Pi 4. Firmware now can boot direct to USB, I put the image on an external USB drive ( 1 TB ) in an enclosure, works great

a walkthrough on how to drop this if I pick up a pi4 would be great! I am running a pre 2008 mac so a lot of the imagers are blocked.

Question to all: haven’t been able to find an answer to this, but cannot get 512gb image to work reliably in that the settings don’t save and keep getting drive full notice even with 10gb free. Also when using any “text box” tool and then exiting back to emulation station the controller settings disappear. I’ve looked just about everywhere and have not been able to find a solution. Anyone else? Am I blind?

Shame the image wasn't available as just the software so it would fit on a 32 or 64GB SD card. Then you extend onto a hard drive. Here a 512GB SD card would be worth the same as a 3TB hard drive (and some change). And running that much stuff on an SD is never a great idea.

Where can I buy this

If you edit the config file, you can point the ROMS's directory anywhere.. I've used a USB hard drive for a long time.. Just make sure you backup that file because if you update Retropie it will write over the top of the old one.

Just an FYI, sure you COULD have a full PSX/Dreamcast ROMSET but you really shouldn't. I threw a terrabyte of ROMs at my Pi 4 earlier today (running RetroPie 4.6) and it takes almost 15 mins to actually boot emulation station. I'm guessing its having to parse the files during boot and because I added so many ROMs (and a lot of larger images too) its taking a really long time.

This is such a beginner/idiot question but I have to ask.. If I buy 2 of the SN30 controllers, can I do local multiplayer with my friends on this image with the Pi 4? I'm looking at my very first Raspberry Pi build and multiplayer is a big thing I'm looking for!

Thanks DrewTalks for the great vid. I grabbed this image and it's fantastic. The only thing that is driving me nuts is that every time I restart the Pi the theme changes. I set it to the one I want and it does not stay. Can you or anyone else help me out with how to fix this? Thanks.

Try to double tap gas on crusin exotica I know in the arcade it gives you a speed boost. Idk about console though. I have fell away from the pi for a while think it's time to get back in but I kinda want to do the nivida shield up.
