Aura cut off the heads of many knights and made them obey her orders.
It must be humiliating for them to fight against their former comrades.
Frieren understood their resentment and might have been angry with Aura.
Hence, Frieren took revenge on Aura on their behalf in the same way Aura had done.
"Kill yourself" resulted in Aura following Frieren's order and cutting off Aura's own head.

I disagree with Himmel scolding Frieren for blowing the bodies of the knights away. They're already dead. They're fighting a powerful demon. They're supposed to be trying to win using whatever means possible.
