PlayStation VR2 vs Meta Quest 2 - Which is BETTER?

I think it's a HUGE bummer the PSVR2 isn't backwards compatible with original PSVR games. What do you think?

I may be a Sony fan boi, but my pick is psvr 2 hands down all day. As long as Sony keeps supporting it, which I think they will. It will grow to be somthing special. I think it will remain niche for little bit longer. But I think it will sell more then psvr and I think Sony is doing great things and helping to establish the market even more.

Moss is beautiful and I love it!!! I wish my psvr 2 supported my psvr library. But I kept it and all the games if I wanna play em.

I bought ps4 pro just to get better graphics out of my psvr and it was much much better then my glacier white ps4. I have ps5 and psvr 2 and I fricken love it! It’s leaps and bounds better then V1. I’ve wanted vr since I was a kid. I remember playing dactyl nightmare at the state fair in 92 when I was 11-12 years old and from there I was in love!

VR is a money making business for Sony PS. I wouldn't even think about paying 500.00 for a system that goes with the console, but it's not a necessity and there's hardly any games for it. People who fall for the VR are now in the same price range as a cheap PC! Over a thousand dollars for gaming? Not for me. I enjoy Gran Turismo 7 without the damn 500.00 VR. It doesn't make the games new, it's just VR. I prefer my games with a controller personally.

you should try out no man's sky VR with the new update. it dramatically changes the clarity and makes it one of the best games on psvr2

Talk about resolution too psvr2 states 4K resolution while meta quest don’t have good graphics at all and leads to motion sickness

I bad bought many VR games from the ps store like Moss, Blood truth, walking dead... And they bad thing is that even though 2 of them are upgraded they ask the full price to buy them all over again...THIS IS ABSURD...i have already bought them once ... The right thing would be to pay i dont know 5...10euros if not free to upgrade from the PS4 version... And i had many games bought...why sony ??? why full price all over ?? Or why cant i play them with then new PSVR2 with the old graphics...

I got super motion sick with GT on the PSVR w/ steering wheel. Star Wars Squadrons with a HOTAS? Not so much. I wish there was a conversion app for non VR FPS Playstaion games tho.

Psvr2 by far. 4k, 110 FOV, haptic feed back in headset, COMFORTABLE and controllers are nice as well, but need more life for longer play.

Yes the psvr1 games don't work on the new headset but they still play on the PS5 with the adapter so you still get better load times and some games get better graphics.

At this point, i'm waiting for the Quest 3. This will be my third time trying to get into VR.

I can’t believe the battery is 4 hours. My old oculus rift battery was more than 50 hours. And it already was a much better experience than ps vr 1 back years ago

VR is a HARD recommendation, whatever way you look at it. I had a PS4, and PSVR and was disappointed. Bought a PS5 (happily) and eventually a PSVR2 and was massively disappointed. It's crap. It really is. Massive let down. I am done with VR because its crap. It really is.

ASTRO bot was such a good game. There are few games that will make a 5, 11, and 40 year fight for playing time. ASTRO bot is good for everybody

It's literally insane how with only 300 dollars, you can great such a great and optimized VR experience, it's definitely the winner here considering also how cheap are games on pc and oculus store. Definitely gonna buy it over the psvr2 !

Yes they absolutely need to get the old VR library running in the new headset. Currently at the moment where I haven’t upgraded to a PS5 yet (I upgrade to a new PS when a new metal gear comes out) it’s a deal breaker for me. If my giant library of PSVR1 games worked I would snag a VR2 in a heartbeat. Come in SONY. I know I’m not alone in this sentiment
