Nice, i wanted to make something like this but was terrified of screwing up cutting the huge hole to fit the bucket.

Simple and practical. All you need it to be. Just retired so building ithis in the week I think. Slightly different pipe array but end result will be (hopefully) the same. Thanks for idea.

Looks great but how easy is it to dump the bucket? Looks like it won't just slide out...

Hi i just found your channel. I am REALLY new to all this and I don't understand why you need the cyclone. Can't you just attach the shop vac hose to your saws? Thanks

Wondering how tall your shop vac is? Want to make mine as tight as possible without making removal of the vacuum difficult. My vacuum is about 25” high. Your plans call for a taller cart. Wondering if your vac is about as tall as mine and you needed the additional room for easy placement/removal?

Just bought the plans. I have the Rigid 4 gallon 5 hp vacuum which is smaller but cart will still work, may need to secure the vacuum down to not move around. Have the Dust Deputy. Thank you.

Will do, at this time cannot install dust collection system due to inadequate power, need to do cleanup afterwards. I have a Rigid and the Deputy, this plan will make lugging it around much easier and then the hoses won't pop out of their fittings.

Whenever I watch one of these American videos I break several commandments. First thing, those fancy red clamps that I've never even seen before let alone lusted over. Baltic 3/4" blah, blah, anti-...resistant.. plywood. Huh?? Scraps of thin OSB will have to do for me, mate. All those rich boy tools... So I'll find fault and make fun of whatever I can... BUNGEE CORDS!!! I've got them, but I would never use them for that! That's just ridiculous!! Ha, ha!
Confession is what time tomorrow?

I build my Oneida Dust Deputy vertical and my chief complaint is no place to store the hose. Now I am looking for another option, but so many out there do not address the need to somehow store the hose. What I do like about yours is the use of the PVC connecting the vac and the Dust Deputy. This is also a much more stable version. I will need to come up with a way to modify this to store the hose.

Good design, my problem still is the hose holder, I have double the length of the hose that came with the shop vac, and still look for a design of a cart and a hose holder, something that holds both the shop vac and the hose and can easily be rolled around the shop.

Looks a bit hard to empty bucket without unscrewing the PVC pipe first - maybe a flex hose fixes that issue?

Great video and a cart design I have been looking for. Couple of questions, where did you get the yellow magnetic stop you used on your bandsaw? Second is what is the space between the top of the Vacuum and the bottom of the top shelf/

For anyone wondering about the various connectors. The PVC is 2" thick, so are the 90 degree elbows. Two black 90 degree connectors come with the dust deputy. The remaining two rubber connectors are Fernco P1056-22 (2 inch x 2 inch), available widely in HD & Lowes for roughly $5 each.

Just did my version with your inspiration out of exterior sheathing. Not as pretty but just as functional, it takes a bit of persuasion since it's not as stable but with a few clamps you can get there. Thanks
