ОтветитьThanks, totally sorted me out.
Ответить" BooM BOOM ; Your Works Still FLYING ! "
ОтветитьExcellently video,very good clear explanation.
ОтветитьThank you 😊
ОтветитьIhave 6 umm
ОтветитьBrilliant video, such a clear and complete explanation. I was struggling to work out how to change my ceiling rose, but this was really simple to follow and my light is now on and working perfectly! Thanks.
ОтветитьAs a student who started later than the whole class by a month, thank you!
ОтветитьThanks for this. I knocked off my bathroom ceiling light light this morning. I'm very tall. The wires came out at the base.
Thus video saved me. It was awkward for me to put it all together but everything is fine now.
Brilliant video and thanks again
Don’t no what I’m doing wrong. I’m not 100% sure on what cable is what ie the in out and switch. For some reason I must have a permanent live going to the bulb as it stays on without switching it on. Any ideas what I’ve done wrong?
ОтветитьGreat video. In my situation, i have two ceiling lights in my living room one with one twin core cable coming through and the other has 4 twin core cables coming through and the brown tape signifying the switch cable is round the Blue wire on one length of cable and the brown wire on a different length of cable. Do you know why this would be?
ОтветитьFantastic explanation and illustrations. Very clear to understand the process.
Ответитьso glad I found your channel, as a woman who handles some mimor house repair/ upgrade, it is nice to know that there's a helpful channel like yours. Thank you 🎉
ОтветитьThankyou worked a treat 👌
ОтветитьCracking video and clear explanation, thanks. My problem is I have got red and black wires instead of brown and blue 😢 yikes! Nothing is ever straightforward is it
ОтветитьGreat explanation and your time. I've moved in to a new built property and I want to install a loft light.
Where would the best practice for taking a live feed for my new light??? I think the main fed is going to the light switches and not to the light pendant would I be right?? Thanks
Hi, my 3 earth wires won't fit into the earth plate. The old fitting had a metal plate. Do you know where I can buy one. Thanks for your posts, very helpful.
Ответитьexcellent thank you
ОтветитьClear explanation, well done, (when I started my apprenticeship a million years ago, first we were taught “bulbs grow, filaments glow” 😂
ОтветитьBrilliant, need to wire in a new switch and light fitting after splitting a room into 2, this makes it very easy to understand.
ОтветитьVeey helpful explained perfect many thanks
ОтветитьI have done that but either it keeps tripping or the lights don't work
ОтветитьYou might wanna turn the lights on to make the video. Then we might be able to see what your doing
ОтветитьI fitted a new LED Light (manufactured in Europe) pendant on to loop, but it didn't have all those connections for a loop so I used one of those clip kit things. The pendant did not have a terminal for the earth, so I just twisted them together and shoved it aside, does anyone know of that will cause a problem?
ОтветитьThis didn’t help at all, I’ve got 9 wires poking out of my ceiling and I’m not fitting a plastic ceiling Rose, my light fitting doesn’t have a terminal box , only blue / brown, so I’ve got 7 wires I don’t know what to do with. And I’ve wired blue to blue and brown to brown and my light doesn’t work. No help at all
ОтветитьThank you, very easy to follow, you made the difficult easy
ОтветитьAnother really good, clearly, explained vid👏
ОтветитьI have done exactly as u said and it still doesn't work
ОтветитьThanks a lot. Your video made this a lot easier for a DIY guy. 👍
ОтветитьBest video so far
ОтветитьGreat video ! Does it matter which way around the two cables are wired into the loop and neutral? Those two are unidentifiable and I’ve just changed all my pendants and somewhere the circuit has been cut off but I can’t see a fault 🤦🏻♀️
ОтветитьI have four sets of wires coming in, two pairs of red-red black-black and earths (which are twisted together). How do I figure out which one is the switch since there's no brown marker on any of the live wires?
Ответитьfantastic
ОтветитьGreat video. I have a problem though I think due to identifying wires - is there a way of doing so without trial and error? It’s blowing light circuit fuse. Assuming it’s due to the switch live? Thanks.
ОтветитьSo how do you tell which is the switch, loop in and loop out wires? Also what if there is a 10 wire, which is gray?
ОтветитьThanks mate! :)
ОтветитьThankyou Pouse that was very well explained and showing the demonstration was excellent
ОтветитьLooking for some help. Need to switch a fitting for standard bayonet as it’s a square type. Popped the cover down and only have loop in. Live ( brown ) neutral ( blue ) and earth. No other cables at all. Am I simply reconnecting the exact same way? After watching this I don’t see a switch cable on mine? Cheers.
ОтветитьMy selling light keeps flashing what am I doing wrong
ОтветитьSomething very satisfying about watching those wire strippers going to work.
ОтветитьThis is such a relief. I'm a single woman who recently put up a new pendant shade and it came down together with the cable so I thought the cable was brittle and I'd need the house rewiring! Now I can see what's happened! Thank you so much😁
ОтветитьHow can I identify the switch live when its notnl marked? I removed the wires from the ceiling rose and forgot to mark it and now i dont know which is switch live. Please help. Thanks
ОтветитьExcellent straight forward video, very well explained, thanks.
ОтветитьI have a question, are the terminal connected with eachother or not. like are all life connector connected with eachother or not?
Ответитьexcellent teacher thank you
ОтветитьYour diagram and spoken guide, is the best tutorial I've found. Big thanks!
ОтветитьI have 5 grey wires instead of 3 for my ceiling fan/light that i just removed, Any idea why?
ОтветитьTxs bro ❤
ОтветитьMate quick question if the electrician hasnt screwed in the item what kind of screws are they?
