EDIT: so it was the second Central American War not corporate war. Stupid mistake on my end there!

Hope you guys all enjoyed this dive into another one of the Legends from Night City. You’re breathtaking for watching it!

Silverhands story is sad and tragic… he in a way was a forgotten legend. Didn’t accomplish v much had more ideals than actions unfortunately.
Son of a bitch who never gave up is fitting for him. Great character tbh

Has anyone ever mentioned that the way you pronounce Sandevistan is infuriating?

Cyberpunk has to be one of the games with the most intriguing lore out there

While the theory that Johnny’s memories are fabricated may be plausible, I still believe that they are actually true. It’s clear that the in game universe diverts from the original board game story somewhat. I’d also like to point out that every character you meet in 2077 recognises that Silverhand was responsible for the bombing of Arasaka tower, whilst never mentioning Morgan Blackhand. It seems CDPR are yet to even touch Blackhand, I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw him in the next game.

Is it just me or does the name Samurai really not fit with Johnny. Sure it’s a cool name.

But Samurai’s are pretty much warriors under a master. So wouldn’t ‘Ronin’ be better?

If Johnny was born in 1988 and playing in a Samurai in 2003 he would be 15 years old. Meaning he lied about his age at around 12 or younger, fought in a war, lost his arm, came back, got a cybernetic arm formed a band and then at the ripe old age of 15 the story starts to pick up.

This seems fishy.

Adam blew his hand off. Then they put it back before soul killing him? I don’t think so.

Bro please understand "within" is not just another word for "in" in any given context. For example, you can't be within a relationship, but you can be in one.

What about when you first meet rouge in the afterlife and she starts talking about how you leave a trial of bodies, and V says that she watch jhonny die right in front of her on the roof” she never corrects it and says that’s not what happened. Also vik tells kinda the same story when you first learn of jhonny engram. Interesting to see how CDPR plays this.

You gotta love that johnnys original story is so threadbare that cd projekt red needed to fucking steal morgan blackhands story and pretend it was johnnys attack on arasaka and that johnny died like a cool guy and not bisected hy a shotgun standing in the open like a idiot

Johnny is a really interesting depiction of how everything, including resistance, gets commodified under this dystopic capitalist future. His resistance to capital is completely controlled by the corps he's fighting against. The inaccurate depiction of events we see on his flash backs in 2077 are an idealized version of events, as if Johnny cant be honest with himself and doesn't realize his "revolution" was completely coopted by the corps. He's a bit of a poser, he sells himself as a revolutionary all while being a pawn in the fight between arasaka and millitech like most mercs. Something that is completely left out of his idealized version of events we see in 2077.

You should've mentioned his cyberarm was manufactured by none other than Arasaka. Rather ironic.

3 days until phantom liberty: I'm 99% sure blackhand won't be in phantom liberty, Despite being my fav character. Hopefully time will prove me wrong.

In the mission ‘Chippin in’, Grayson tells you that Johnny died “covered in his own piss, brain scorched by soulkiller….”
So he probably didn’t get one shotted by Smasher.

Engram Johnys memories are deff edited by Arasaka, a jumbled mess of Alt Rescue and Arasaka Bombing...
