So, the usb cable of the preamp is also the output from the sound of the mic right? Now If I had the background track in the PC, that would not come out through the headphones? I mean the headphones will only monitor my voice but not integrate the background music?

I have the same configuration as yours, also a BM800 and I only record stereo mono, how did you record stereo??

Have you bought XLR Cable separately ? Or it comes in microphone ?
