Don't go by the height of the clip. I just bought a legit pump from a Welbro authorized dealer in the USA and it has the short clip. The real sign is the small hole at the bottom. Real = no hole Fake = hole.

Are the fake 255’s loud? Or are the real ones loud?

Mine has everything but the pin hole at the bottom. Is it a fake? Came with instructions has all the Engravings but no pin hole at the bottom?!?
