Great breakdown, excellent video. The last time I can recall the expectations / hype / talent being this high for Ohio State is the 1998, 2006, and 2015 seasons. As a Buckeye fan, I cringe when I think of how all those seasons played out...hopefully, it won't be a repeat of those disappointing seasons this year...

All indications are that Sayin is ahead at this point. He took the 2nd most reps at the spring game and Ryan Day said he is still in the mix for the starting QB job.

Word inside the Woody facility is that Sayin is 'mentally' developed light years ahead of most in that room ! -- Shockingly ahead in the understanding of what to do when - given the wide variety of questions a QB will encounter. --?-- Amazing - cause we still expect Howard's years of experience to win out this season. 🤔 Yet - who knows what will happen with all that talent in that room ? - - - What a problem to have ( ? ) - a real embarrassment of riches ! 🤗

I'm not sold that Will Howard will be good enough to put the offense "break college football" territory, but it should be very good. Backup QB has been an issue lately too, and with everyone expecting more QB run, along with a longer season, that could end up pretty relevant too. Tons of talent in that QB room but nobody who has accomplished anything at college. OL needs to prove that they are better than they showed last year, too, especially on that right side. I'd still look to see if OSU adds another tackle in the 2nd portal window.

Well, it’s been a month since you did this video, and the reports coming out of the quarterback room at Ohio State is that Julian sayin is right now on top, because of his ability to stand at the whiteboard or stand in front of the video break everything down, and from an academic standpoint, is calling out, plays pre-snap on the level of a junior or a senior.

Devin Brown gets hurt too much so Nolan will stick around.

Ohio State is certainly loading up for a run in 2024.

Air Noland comes in at #3 among Pocket Passers with 4 stars and a grade of 85.

Somewhat agree with noland hitting the transfer eventually, but wouldn't count him out yet, he has the talent to compete with anyone. Howard has the experience but I'd prefer noland or Sayin as qb1 at least so fat, we don't know what's gonna happen and who will come out on top

tosu is winning the natty every year for the foreseeable future. they can pay the players more then any other school other then maybe, MAYBE texas. Huge alumni base, largest fanbase, most money to shop with in NIL. Also the coaching staff is ridiculously stacked.

Don’t worry, Day is still there. There hasn’t been a time when he has had less than two full teams of 5 stars and developed them into a team. He can’t win the big games and definitely can’t beat the SEC teams so consider this his last chance. The one time he won, he had Urbans team. Since that time, he has failed.

So O$U has decided to spend $10m to $15m on a title instead of a coach that can develop talent. O$U will get stomped by UGA.

It's going to be a battle for playing time!!!! I believe he is one of the reasons Kyle McCord ran.... We have five star receivers who want to play with Noland...Sayin saw these horses ... Straight up through breds!!! we have at wide receiver & tight end stud running backs he know they will make him shine. Who ever becomes the starter, better hope he doesn't get hurt because the back up will come in, & he might not get another chance again!!!!

You can get all the pieces you want. When the puzzle doesn't fit together, you still have nothing but good pieces and nothing to show for it but a bowl game loss by a bunch of sore losers and absolute quitters.

Crazy to me that as much money as OSU is paying their players, they still can't get a chip. I'm all for paying players, they deserved it from the beginning. The other power schools got even more dominant once we could stop lying about paying players. But, somehow OSU got worse?! Now they're losing almost as much money as they are losing games to other schools with billion dollar payrolls.

If Day doesn't win it all this year, he should get the boot.

They will be about the same as this year. Same trash offensive line, didn't do enough to replace Marvin Harrison Jr., Julian Fleming and Cade Stover at receiving. They got a QB who even though he was older, had more college experience and was a returning startet still completed his passes at a lower percentage then Kyle McCord. He also had 4 more INT's and 500 less passing yards. The receivers are weaker, the QB is basically the same. The OL is just as average as before and the Running back probably got a little better(mainly because Henderson never could stay healthy) That is the truth of what osu did and has.
