Logic Pro Producer Tries FL Studio for the FIRST Time

As a Logic user, I enjoyed this. I suffer the same frustrations with FL! Suggestion: Please slow down when you actually figure something out (like how to turn off your voice) and explain clearly. The "For Dummies" version is always the best! I am beyond fluent in Logic, but I'm not even sure how to copy and paste in FL, or simply record/play something in using a MIDI keyboard. Also, I'm trying to learn the PC side at the same time because that's one of the main reasons some of my students use FL--because they are PC, not MAC. So in order to help them make beats using a PC and FL.... well..... you said it very well... not that easy!

ive not used fruity loops ( FL Studio ) for like 15+ years it was my first DAW, i produce now in Reason and Studio One. I find Reason to be a lot of fun :)

For someone who has only used fl once I can say this was an accurate depiction of my first time

mixcraft 9 pro studio is the most similar to logic. They look similar but with different colors and the workflow is similar too.

I really like that you went open minded into the test, nothing is more useless than some fanboys just searching for stuff to hate on other daws. And after years of fl studio as my main daw i still manage to have some audio signal out of nowhere routing somewhere causing an eternal echo thats getting louder just as i get louder yelling the enire repertoire of swear words i know. To me the perfect daw would be a mix of fl studio, Logic and Studio One. Audio in FL Sucks and is awesome in logic, and studio ones interface mixed with logic would match my taste.

Do people get pissed off when he calls it Fruity Loops or something? I’ve called it fruity loops for as long as I can remember. He keeps apologising when he says the full name.

First: Read the manual, it really does help
Second: Learn the shortcuts, it'll cut down on your mouse travel

Went from FL8 to logic. Stayed with logic until I got FL20 recently. While it's familiar, man a lot has changed.
