This episode is written by multiple people so that might explain the writing, but I thought it was good writing.
Ответитьthe fight scenes were very underwhelming for me just based of the fact we already knew who was gonna die and who was gonna live i wish they'd had done the fight scene in the same episode instead of making it two separate ones
ОтветитьMaybe The writers of The Acolyte are NOT Star wars fans, but I do believe it will be a Season 2 to answer more Questions
ОтветитьThis is like a bad star wars fanfiction
ОтветитьThanks for watching it. We all knew it was going to be bad, but it's still always nice to see your videos regardless of the suffering you had to endure to make commentary about the show lol
ОтветитьI liked it.
ОтветитьThe Farce Is Strong In This One.
In a galaxy far far away, a bold story is told, and The Acolytes absurdity unfolds,
Flashbacks flicker through a hyperspace's glare, a WTF tale beyond compare.
A wookie with metal detector? Thats shit, Scanning lifeless planets for treasures that fit, Yet life blooms there, against all known odds, Gardeners tend flora as if they were gods.
Lesbian witches whispering secrets untold, Colleagues turned foes, their stories unfold, An emotional master, his heart in a storm, A homesick padawan, dreams of being home nice and warm,
Mass psychic murders, a tragic ballet, In a diverse cosmos where the Force is gay, Like a cheap lightsabers' diminishing glow, This saga spews out, in a vomitous flow.
So let's raise our glasses to this trainwreck in space, Where lgbtqia+ and broken lore find a place, To The Acolyte’s absurd design, Where the Force weaves tales, far from sublime.
I would've thought that when Mother Aniseya transformed herself into that black smoke stuff that she would've been impervious to a light saber seeing as she's no longer corporeal.
ОтветитьOne thing is how are OSHA and Mae one split consciousness
ОтветитьQimir was in the background somewhere, during one of the scenes where the witches were talking to each other.
ОтветитьBro why are you STILL trying to defend this garbage? How much are they paying you? 😂
ОтветитьSo they killed the only one who acts as a jedi in the first episode... cool
ОтветитьLet's give our children drugs, spice cake anyone?
ОтветитьWhy didn't she say what she was going to do before she turned into a black mist?! Just say Osha wants to go with you and I'm going to save her 🤦
ОтветитьThey all died because they lost Bluetooth connection with Kelnaka!?
ОтветитьAlso their whole community blew up and burnt down because a tiny fore was set. A book. Osha was told that killed everyone. In a brick/metal complex
ОтветитьWhat! Mae's mum tells her to stop Osha whatever it takes. So she stupidly tries to keep her in her room with a fire before realising it could kill her 30s later🤦
ОтветитьIf only the obi wan series did good; we would've had a season 2.
ОтветитьEpisode 7 did to Episode 3 what TFA did to A New Hope 😂
ОтветитьSo he'd playing Outlaws presumably
ОтветитьI just hope most of the characters will die in the end so this abomination couldn't get a second season
ОтветитьThey can’t answer it in one episode, there’s gonna be a season 2😭😭😭😭😭😭
Ответитьwhy does sol seem so much like a pedo in this episode?
like, we get it, you want a padawan, but bro is straight up OBSESSED with osha and mae
wtf was going on in leslye's head when she was writing this???
I’m hoping they’re taking the stance “his side, her side and the truth”. We’ve seen Osha and Mae’s perspective and now Sol’s perspective but the problem with this is us going back to the same scenes AGAIN from the true perspective (not sure if this would be Torbin or one of the two robed figures we see during the chanting). Instead of devoting whole episodes to this, I wish they did vignettes instead or flashbacks while coming back to the current timeline.
IMO they should have made these into 1 hour episodes or filmed two seasons then released season one since it’s proving to be just filler and set up to make us ask a bunch of questions they can’t possibly answer with only one episode left
From the perspective of the witches, this entire thing could have been avoided if Anaseya had just said "No." The Jedi wouldn't attack them without provocation and Master Indara clearly said they required permission to test the kids. WHY DID ANASEYA SAY YES
ОтветитьWhy are people so hesitant to call out weak writing when they see weak writing? Making excuses for it and pretending it's better than it is, is the reason we get worse writing. Because people will cover for it
ОтветитьI'd rather torture myself Into watching the sequels or other bad movies
ОтветитьBtw did you notice that osha’s clothes are becoming darker with each Episode?
ОтветитьBombastic Clips having an 11 minute video. That doesn’t sound like a clip.😂
ОтветитьIn my opinion the fact that they aren't trying to kill eachother makes it even more engaging. And guys why always talk about the negative stuff? I mean, two people died from stab wounds in this show and you still try to make a joke about Disney and stabs. And I'd say this episode's whole purpose was to show that the Jedi are people too and they are emotional. That's why Torbin ran off, that's why Sol couldn't think clearly enough to pull both girls from the bridge.
ОтветитьIt’s so weird how they keep acting like the Jedi had a bad past, yet all of it happened cause the witches and Mae instigate tf outta them, also how every single instance Sol was acting in self defense yet viewed as a villain😭😭
ОтветитьThis show isn't bad, its not good, it isnt anything. There's just not that much substance.
ОтветитьThis show had so much potential, but poor writing has really let down everyone Kathleen Kennedy should own the failure and resign
ОтветитьThey like to telegraph things, so maybe the tussle at the end between Sol and Indarra suggests that Qimir, who has a similar tussle with Mae in episode 2, is her Sith apprentice after whip Jedi cast him out of the Order for the same kind of "failure" that got Osha expelled under Sol's teachings. Also, Indarra's sudden pivot to cover-up what happened makes perfect sense IF she has secret dark side powers that are forbidden; so she fakes her death because she knew all about Qimir's attempt to find an Acolyte to betray her. MEANING that now Osha becomes her Acolyte after Indarra easily kills Qimir, then monologues all about how Sol was mistakenly obsessed with Osha, when it was actually always her destiny to be Indarra's... cut to black. How did I do? Does that sound better than what we're going to get for the finale?
ОтветитьSeems like some fans just want black and white, good v bad storytelling with zero grey areas or nuances.
This episode was a great swing in that direction, i dug it.

They hired people that claim3d ignorance in Star Wars, and everyone is confused that their rendition of a Jedi, and the Force makes no sense? That is what they were going for, duh!
ОтветитьTo be fair, she could be alive, mother Talsin was stabbed by grievous but ended up still surviving and tried some more bullshit that Mace and fucking jar jar stopped😂😂
ОтветитьThis show was even worse than SomEhOw PalPaTine RetUrnEd
ОтветитьBasically, they should have started with the Hot Darkside Dude and one of twins doing evil darkside stuff. Two episodes of that, then we see the good twin and have no idea it's her until we the viewer can tell something is up because she's acting different. The Jedi show up and try to take in the good twin. They do... they're Jedi, but then Sol shows up and speaks up for her. After that they're like... "you have a sister!" and she's like "I didn't know she's alive!" and then boom it's a Star Wars show again and we have at least three episodes left to party. You use that time for Lighsaber fights, betrayal, darkside/lightside arguments and the rest just writes itself.
ОтветитьIn my opinion, turning yourself into a black mist and leaving and leaving yourself wide open within attack range of two clearly high strung jedi is not what I'd call a pro gamer move. Yeah Sol jumped the gun by stabing the mother, but after seeing Torbin get possessed once it was an understandable reaction. For all he knew she could've been trying to possess them both and force them to kill one another. If anything this is Indara's fault above all else. She could have (possibly) prevented everything if she just told Sol to STFU instead of enabling him into getting closer and more obsessed with Osha. She also should have been able to tell Torbin was mentally unstable after getting posessed and Sol was getting more and more sus over Osha and maybe disabled the speeders or something just to be safe.
ОтветитьThis might accidentally break canon but I don't really know so please tell me if I do. Here's what I think the acolyte (show) should have been: instead of some random cult of witches, we should have gotten a nightsister cult. It would have explored the time when old Daka was mother of her cavern, which is a few decades before Talzin became mother of her cavern. Darth Tenebrous and Darth Plagueis would have been working with the nightsisters and the jedi would be investigating. Eventually we find out that Darth Plagueis is searching for an apprentice and requires the aid of the nightsisters. Mother Daka agrees to use her magik to seek out a powerful apprentice with an extremely strong connection to the force(palpatine). Later, hoping to find answers, the jedi request the help of Talzin to explore an ancient tomb located somewhere across the planet. This tomb is the tomb of Kujet(from jedi fallen order). Before they can get to it, they are attacked by two giant dathomirian bats, similar to Gorgara, also from jedi fallen order. They decide it is much too dangerous, so they retreat. Instead of trying to gk back to the tomb immediately, they return to Coruscant, where they split up. One group attempts to gather information about the sith of which they are hunting, and the others head to the jedi temple, seeking the wisdom of the council. Eventually, they return to Dathomir, where they once again head to the tomb of Kujet. However, this time, instead of flying there, they decide to venture through the wildlands, where they run into many enemies, including a Nydak, and a rather large nest of bane back spiders(both from jedi fallen order). At the very end of this series, we see Plagueis attempt to find an apprentice again, accept this time, he succeeds. The season will then come to a close with Plagueis saying the line "set a course... for Naboo" therefore confirming how he found Palpatine.
Obviously, this is just the main plot and still needs a lot of work, but it is a start.
This whole show is an idea written on a bar napkin...
ОтветитьI dont care what you think but I honestly feel like star wars has ever had a consistent identity
We have had Jar Jar Binks and Order 66
We have had Chewbacca eating a Porg and Luke Skywalkers sacrifice on the battle of crait
We even had Ewoks and Jawas contrasting the dark reveal of Vader being Lukes true father and Vaders eventual sacrifice for his son
Out of all of the Star Wars shows we got the past 4 years The Acolyte takes the Cake when it comes to being the most really Star Wars
i wondered how long it would take before you noticed you said qimir wrong
ОтветитьLol @ people who complained that you were pronouncing someone's name wrong 🤣
ОтветитьThat poor wookie (Kelnacca) just wanted to fix his bike and cook food he didn't expect this 🤣
ОтветитьThis is just a terrible show.
