NOT WORTH THE 5000 A MONTH FEE AND YOU WILL BE SPENDING OVER A MILLION DOLLARS IN THE 15 YEARS IF YOU STAY ON FOR 15 YEARS. REALLY IS IT WORTH IT. NOPE. SHIP IS OUTDATED. BAD BUSINESS MOVE ON THE OWNERS. THIS WONT LAST SELL YOUR CABIN AND GET OUT
ОтветитьGood morning! Keep staying positive, guys. I Hope that everything works out in the end. When you guys get back home, keep sending out your videos and let us know how you are doing.
ОтветитьWho makes money with these kind of penny pinchers
ОтветитьYou guys are so cute. So authentic. Enjoying life. Even with its ups n downs. Keep cruising 🤗
ОтветитьSorry...I wondered if this was like some bad timeshare experience.
ОтветитьWhat a terrible company. So poorly prepared, put their cart before the horses. Months of enduring their incompetence. I would get a lawyer.
ОтветитьWhat a debacle! Puts me off resident cruising
ОтветитьI really feel for you guys.
ОтветитьRed flags flying high!!! Especially with that welders post!! 😡 Who wants to try to live on a rusty junkyard cruise ship?? And your lives are worth more than risking on this adventure
ОтветитьThey are scamming you! If they was going to do this they should fix everything, then you sail! Sorry guy but you are being scammed 😢❤
ОтветитьYou are more patient than I would be. You shouldn't be paying anything because of their depays. Wow
ОтветитьI truely sympathise. All this and to now not be allowed to sail in to the US, Canada, China and Japan!! That's alot of the World Cruise written off; and already missed out on Iceland and Scandinavia
- i don't know how you keep so positive 😢
Hate to say this but this ship is never going around the world, it can’t even get out of Europe.
ОтветитьReally hoping for the best outcomes for you, this is truly unacceptable on all aspects
ОтветитьUnfortunately I knew this would happen, hope it works out for you guys but I’m not so sure it will! I warned everybody about the age of this ship and that it’s past due for retirement! Being a yacht repair company owner unfortunately it’s not looking good!
ОтветитьGet your pants pulled up people, your world tour is over plain and simple...
ОтветитьSo disappointing for you both and everyone else. You are adventurous people and I admire that. Hope it works out for you!
ОтветитьThis whole thing sounds like a huge cluster of excuses and something doesn't seem right. I would have obtained a full refund and said adieu to Villa Vie!
ОтветитьGet a lawyer
ОтветитьWishing all the Best for yourselves and other Adventurers. I however would not Board this Ship until it was ready to go.
Ответитьbecareful what you say they just kicked a lady off for saying negative things about the wait on a private email. be safe. and hope you get your trip
ОтветитьI follow another couple doing this on another ship & same thing! Very scary!🙏🙏🙏Blessing’s
ОтветитьI feel so sorry for all of you on that ship. Really hope that it all turns out well for you.
ОтветитьYou made need an intervention at this point.
ОтветитьI’d say you need probably 10 cups a day per subscriber too many delays something is off get off the boat it is sinking quicker than you are getting coffee
ОтветитьSo sorry for these delays. I know it is frustrating. Hopefully good news soon.😘
ОтветитьBe careful! They might vote you out like they did the 68 year old lady from Florida! You aren't allowed to tell the truth - only the positives about this ill fated venture. I hope you have lawyers waiting! I wish you well!
ОтветитьI am so Praying that this Ship living works out for everybody. Its such a Great Idea!
ОтветитьWishing you well, i have followed vvr, the world and storylines as we plan on doing something similar in a few years. Hoping for a postive outcome to encourage other companies to do the same and wishing you well for some good news this week
ОтветитьOh man! I feel for you! I am hoping that you are not caught in a "bait and switch" con! Excellent choice to head home, I would have done the same the second time they postponed the departure. I would have said, "email me when the ship sails, what port you are going to next, and I'll meet you there. " You are fine people and as it is always said, "it always turns out for the best." Have a safe trip home, keep your head up!
ОтветитьSo sorry
ОтветитьThey had no business selling staterooms to anyone unless they were ready to set sail and move forward. Good luck with everything. Safe travels.
ОтветитьSo sorry for you but this is what happens when a very old ship is trying to be revived and the fact that it was mothballed for years doesn’t help
ОтветитьWell week is up or almost up so what’s happening next week?
ОтветитьI don’t remember where I saw reference to “the founders” but you said you’re not one of the founders, just bought a cabin. What have the founders bought beyond just a cabin? Are they part of the start up investors?
ОтветитьRemember the same company that are doing the repairs on this boat is the very same that built the titanic
ОтветитьThis was posted by a crew member (for the second time- I read a post from same crew member 2 months ago). This is important for the passengers to know. " I worked on this ship from May-July as a fabricator/welder. I have 15 years experience working on ships carrying out maybe 30 or more refits and I can without a doubt say that this ship is the worst condition i have ever seen a ship in. It is rottern from top to bottom, inside and out. A ship this size and age woulds cost tens of millions of pounds to get her up to spec, this hasnt happed. The only place this should have sailed to is Aliàga beach in Turkey 🇹🇷 "
ОтветитьWhere do I begin. I know Mike (Mikael Petterson). I know Kathy Villalba. I know Vedat Ugurlu. I know Ethem Bayramoglu. I know Kendra Holmes. I know Irina Strembitsy. I know Robert Dixon. I even know Natalka Brodnik, Tobias Lindsten, Najam Saqib, Anne Alms, etc. My favorite of these folks was Adrian Meyer.
It all started in early March of 2023. "Could you live on ship for 3 years for $30k per person?" Yep.
The months that followed were exciting. Vaccines. Visas. I know what a POD is. Zoom meetings, yeah! Contracts, you bet cha. Oh, the itinerary...... 40 pages of high gloss, 4 color print...... beautiful! I can give you a copy of the original.... it was Robert Dixon's brain child.
I even learned in the ins and outs about FMC, CLIA, UKDT, ACCC. I know some things now.
2 months later, I find out Vedat was taking passenger's money and depositing it into his pizza parlor's business bank accounts in Winter Garden, Florida.
Mike got into a disagreement with Vedat about where the money was. Claims he didn't know. Now, I love pizza, but come on. There was no escrow. Mike setup a zoom meeting where he cried on camera to us passengers while he told us the story of what Vedat had done.
Vedat fired Mike and his team. They've been suing each other since.
Mike tried to take credit for refunding everyone their deposits back in late April / early May of 2023. Thing is, he also claimed in an email to us passengers that they decided to switch cc processors and that caused the refunds to occur. Which story is truer? O.o
The whole adventure was finished right then and there...... or so I thought. Out of nowhere, Kendra, Vedat, Ethem, come onto the scene. Robert Dixon was there too! He switched teams! The whole adventure was their doing and it was still 'ON.' They needed to let Mike and his team go because of, well you know..... they sucked and that's that.
I hung unto every word that came out of Mike's and Irina's mouths. Remember, Mike and Irina were the 1st team of the ill-fated Life at Seas Cruise brought to us by the illustrious Turkish company Miray Cruises, LTD.
Fast forward to you two. What can I say that you haven't experienced 1st hand.
What can be done to convince folks that the people I've talked about here are nothing but a bunch of grifters?
They are good at what they do.
Take care. "J"
Any comment on the story I just read about a passenger being kickoff off the cruise for excessive complaining and inquiring about what’s going on ? Probably another reason to keep singing praises for the company
ОтветитьI have been following your channel for some time and find your deep sense of honesty, clarity and humility so endearing and engaging. As much as I would love to hug you both, as this saga unfolds, I would love to shake you both as well. Please, please, please take your time in the United States to really reassess and re-evaluate the bigger picture here. I would never rain on anyone's parade let alone their dreams or aspirations, and I envy your deep sense of faith and positivity, but just for a few moments between yourselves look at this situation through an outsiders eyes.
I know people who are working on Villa Vie and her repairs and believe me even if this ship does eventually sail (which is highly unlikely) it will not be for very long, owing to it's age and structural sensitivity.
I truly wish you both all the love, joy and happiness that you both clearly deserve and (please God) you get to live your dreams.
It’s a proper rust bucket really, it’s not ever going to withstand rough seas without a lot of further problems in the future, I’ve said this from the very beginning, people run with the same dream then look back when it’s all too late, more money then sense too.
ОтветитьHi Steve and Angela, Hope you are getting some good rest in the US. One thing that I have not heard mentioned is how visas are handled by residents. How are passports, visas and payments handled as you move from country to country? Some countries visas, like Brazil, can be hundreds of dollars. Sometimes your passport has to be sent out to to the consulate, stamped and then sent back. People who travel heavy internationally often have to have two passports so they can continue to travel while one passport is in for visa issuing. I used Atlas visa a lot to handle my visa requirements. How is this handled on VV?
ОтветитьAww man my heart breaks for yall. You can feel your defeat in the message. Hoping this is the roughest of the seas and you are able to set sail soon. Holding out that without everyone there they will get everything done they need 🤞🏽🤞🏽
ОтветитьI'm sorry that your trip has been so full of hiccups, we have enjoyed your daily clips. Take care and I hope you're back on your dream trip soon.
ОтветитьI love watching this train wreck! Time to get an attorney!
ОтветитьCall a lawyer
ОтветитьHopefully this will go through. It looks like Odyssey is almost there. But like every tough project, the end is the toughest to cross the line. I hope this will not affect your Bountiful positivity. 💪 hang in there.❤❤❤
ОтветитьI hope it all comes together for you and all the other folks.🤞
