How to Create Notifications or Reminders in Excel

This does not do Notifications or Reminders! This is just highlighting cells!

Where are the reminders and Notifications? Is there a way to get Excel to give notifications and reminders without having to manually open Excel? Notify me so I can open Excel and see what is in alarm

Can i set rules for columns for example every 90 days my gas detector needs calibrating. So 2 weeks out the columns would go yellow then the date it's due and beyond it's red?

Still struggling with this. Say I want "01/20/23" I would expect to select that format then go back to that field and type in "012023" and have it fill in the forward slash. But it doesn't work on any of the formats I select. It is maddening.

Of all the computer programs I have learned Excel is the most baffling in that you cannot navigate it intuitively. It is truly designed for only a handful of people to understand who wish to dedicate their lives to it.

While the video was quite helpful, the title of the clip is somewhat misleading. I was searching for a solution to notify (as in e-mail notification) when something's changed, all other results were topical except this one.
