IT sounded like the presenter said that all members of the 75th complete Ranger school.
Does that mean that all members of only member of the 75th completed Ranger school before RASP?

Simple - RRD assessment for Tier 1 where they learn high speed tech for Recon
Tier 2, RIP for enlisted, Ranger Tab, and lives to a miserable standard! These guys are professional shock troops that get jacked up and can make the Marine Corps look like kitty cats when it comes to killing!

You had it totally backwards. You can be in the Ranger regiment without ranger school.

You are not an “army ranger” just for going to ranger school.

Rangers training is classified as for what you're showing, I did in advanced infantry training (AIT) and during permanent party combat training. 5 miles before breakfast and 105 to 115 lb gear, 21 mile force marches, 30-day Batallion ORTs in the snow, and during monsoon season. No Ranger will reveal their training, that is, unless you're the enemy!

I know the video was edited and had cut scenes, but for context of one scene here he was talking about the impact of a 50 cal sniper rifle. He initially said the impact of this particular round will liquify the enemy or some shit he was trying to say. Then he goes on to say even if you miss “by a few feet??” The kinetic energy will still rip off a limb. Which is bull 💩! But whatever makes him happy I guess.

Delta and Seals are small groups with a direct mission set. Rangers “Regiment” are bigger direct action infantry units that are used to overwhelm the enemy. So of course they would be deployed more and longer. Delta and Seals go in covertly and snatch up the target or hostage before the enemy realizes what hit them. By the time they notice Delta and Devgru are gone leaving behind a few unsuspecting dead bad guys. For instance the story of a Combat Controller name John Chapmen was embedded with a small team of Seals (because that what CCTs do as fellow tier 1 guys in JSOC) was killed holding it down for what seem like days was eventually killed on a afghan mountain. So it goes: a small team of Seals was put together to retrieve the body of another operator I believe a Seal. Upon arriving on location the teams chinook went down hit by a RPG. The CCT guy engaged the enemy in knee deep snow as the seal guys were pinned down already taken a few casualties. The CCT commenced to kicking ass and taking names! He was even able to take over one of the Talibans firing points in a close quarters gun fight, all while being being hit multiple times himself. It took Rangers, who were already on standby as the quick reaction team a day or so to get to the point on the mountain due to the snow and rugged terrain. In the meantime the CCT guy was able to pull himself together and continue the fight, drawing fire to his position away from the injured Seals. Eventually the Rangers did get on scene rescuing the seal team. So yea, the Rangers eventually helped out. However, John Chapman of the USAF 24th STS, the CCT, the real hero and the initial deceased Seal was left behind sadly, do to enemy pressure.
I know I probably got off topic a little bit
But once I got started and mentioned Sgt. Chapman I had to tell history. As a fellow Airman, I had and will tell his story any chance I get. Especially when another branch wants to brag about how good they are ir when they like to diss and make jokes about the Air Force. Just know Mr ranger Sniper, the Air Force 24th STS: PJs/CCTs/SRR/TACPs are tier 1 for a reason!

During WW2 when the US Rangers were setup they where based on the British Army Commandos ( UK's First Special Forces ) My late Grandfather was in First Special Service Brigade One Commando he helped to train them at the Commando Training Centre in Scotland and also went on Raids with them in mainland Occupied Europe before D-Day. He rated them very highly. WW2 Rangers and WW2 Commandos One of the Same RIP To all of the Commandos and Rangers from WW2 who passed away during WW2 and those who have passed away since.

I’m going to interject some ranger history here. You will see how far rangers have come and, more importantly, where you don’t want to go.

I enlisted infantry and was airborne, ranger and lrrp trained while serving on active duty 1969-1971. There were no active ranger battalions at that time. Vietnamization cut army strength and I received a 90 day drop on my enlistment by joining a reserve component for 1 year. I was assigned to a newly formed airborne ranger company. They knew nothing of ranger operations and it fell to me to provide training.

What I did not foresee was that other than a few vets continuing their careers, these men were largely evading the risk of the draft and combat in Vietnam. They typically had little interest in their newfound ranger mission. I had a very difficult time dealing with this. Essentially these men were there to “play the game” and nothing more. Many were resentful of having to meet their military obligation. Nonetheless, l stayed for a number of years before leaving.

Now well into the future, I was a security director in the Middle East. Come the Second Iraq War we were evacuated and returned to the U.S. When home I looked in on one of the rangers I knew, a senior nco, now retired. I found him in his basement hiding in the gloom. He had received orders to an active duty ranger battalion. When I asked what was wrong, he responded with “It’s the government. They’re *uc*ing with me.” Then he showed me his orders which read, paraphrased, “We don’t think we will need you, but if we do, here’s where to report. He looked around in the near dark for what seemed to be miniature personal surveillance satellites spying out his hiding place. The war was quickly ended. He was never needed.

Rangers, you have come a very long way and attained a position of honor. But if we should ever come to conscription, I’d be very leery of reserve component commandos.

Shits no joke. As a wanna be I got the opportunity to train with them during the Reforger of 83 as the radio man for one of the evaluators. They jumped into a heavy forest late that evening as I watched. Then we humped the most treacherous and difficult route Germany had to offer for more than 24 hrs. Without a weapon and ruck sack my ass was done, these dudes carried rucks so heavy that they often used the buddy system just to stand up with all that weight. By the end of the week I was talking shit to my Lt. As a pfc.

The Tier system is a totally made-up falsehood created by armchair operators and 'sheepdogs' who sit around pontificating about who's the "best." Tier 1 assets are organically assigned to the command mentioned here, which is a joint command, so it has its own intelligence, supply and logistics, airlift, etc. T1 assets always have priority to get gear or personnel on airlift allotted to the command--as an example. This is in contrast to units that provide direct support and support to the command. They may be on the same compound overseas, but have different arrangement for supplies, etc than the T1 assets do. That's it. There is no Tier 2. There sure as shit is no Tier 3. Units not associated with the command have no "tier" designation whatsoever. This channel is full of useful information. You need to let go of this one thing however; someone's been filling your head with BS. Not once have I ever heard anyone called "Tier 2" and believe me--I would have heard it...
