I have a bunch of cells with just numbers and the trailing spaces, and the Trim() function didn't work for me 😞
ОтветитьThat 80s Galaxian/Pacman music at the beginning and the end is so funny!
Ответитьthank you
ОтветитьTrying this today, and it doesn't work on numbers. I have a column of numbers (column A) and they all have a trailing space. I did exactly as you showed - created a blank column, inserted the =TRIM(A2), dragged the trim down the file, then copied the new column and pasted values. The data stayed exactly the same. What did I do wrong?
ОтветитьSpot on ty!
ОтветитьMaybe this worked 7 years ago? Does not work now. I have a column of numbers with trailing spaces. "TRIM" function does nothing.
ОтветитьJust what I needed. Thanks!
ОтветитьExactly what I was looking for. Thanks Brie!
Ответитьthanks , but I need to remove only the trailing spaces without touching the leading or the double spaces between texts! Is there a formula that can do this step without doing it with VBA?
ОтветитьHi thanks for video.
This is good for regular space..
What about irregular space..?
Thank you so much Brie..
ОтветитьThank you Brie. I just stumbled on trailing spaces because two similar lists of data won't compare. Other suggestions said "trailing spaces" are the problem. I looked on the web and was horrified at how complicated it looked. But your presentation made it so simple. Many thanks.
