I need help choosing a valve amp. Never owned one. I play kinda alt metal and a bit of rock. What should I get?! To be played with a Custom 24-08 Don't really wanna go over 3 or 4k maybe 5k.

you should do a Blindfold on rob with some AMP patches all in the kemper but tell him its all different vulve amp!

Rob is a seriously good guitar player.

Friedman and EVH for me, H&Ks to me sound very sterile but come loaded with features which are a pain in the ass for techs, I don't think this Victory or Friedman are the right choices though. Imo should have been the full Mesa Mark V 90w, EVH 5150 Stealth, Victory Super Kraken, and a Friedman JJ or Butterslax for high gain. Throw a Marshall JVM and Peavey 6505+/Invective in there which don't cost as much but imo set the standards.

The EVH was my second favorite, I thought it sounded so much better than the first one, the mesa, and all of them except for the Friedman, that was my favorite.

is it just me or am I the only one who absolutely hates the sound of a boogie?
