Disable Internet Explorer - Group Policy

IE11, the built-in browser for Windows, is now unsupported and a security risk.

In this 3min video tutorial, using Microsoft Group Policy, you will learn how to restrict the use of Internet Explorer 11 on your domain-joined computers.

Once this setting is configured, if a user tries to open IE11, Microsoft Edge will open instead.

This is a technical control required for "User Application Hardening" within the Essential Eight.
