venture into worst par 3 courses. it could get bad
ОтветитьCome to Canada! I'd love to see some of our courses reviewed by you! love your videos
ОтветитьThat first course is just all Florida muni courses.
Sometimes you pay $75
Hey you may have to revisit that lakeside course, A recent reply from the course owner says they are making drastic improvements in the next couple of months
ОтветитьYou should try Golf North Hills in Jonesboro, AR. It’s bad. Like really bad. Every single hole is uphill somehow, but it’s a small business and the dude who owns it is really nice. It’s quite an experience
ОтветитьDude has never seen my muni par 3 course. Literal knee high weeds on almost all the greens. The bunkers were actually just dirt for awhile. Now they are like, sandbox sand. Green fees are 8 bucks for 9 holes tho.
ОтветитьLol imagine having a driving range set up where the players hit over a pond... so they constantly have to invest in more and more golf balls as the ones are miss hit into the water lol OR... all the range balls have been soaking in water for god knows how long. Pretty idea... bad in practice lol
ОтветитьSeems like the first course has undergone renovations, would love to see a video where you revisit it and give it a second chance. :)
ОтветитьWho I was just watching this on the Fourth of July of 2024
ОтветитьPlease play at the Links Tuscaloosa Alabama golf course if you want a good candidate for the worst rated golf courses in America 🇺🇸
ОтветитьEvery course here is a lush paradise compared to Juniata in Philadelphia
ОтветитьYou think Bonaventure is bad??? You HAVE TO play at Grand Palms in Pembroke Pines which is about 20 min from there. It’s the absolute worst! Would be an amazing review for worst course in America. My friend calls the greens “mosaic greens” bc of the mold growing on them haha
ОтветитьThe gunk in the bottom of orange Gatorade is a known issue. I don't understand how Gatorade hasn't addressed it. Next time you're in the store flip an orange bottle upside down and look for the yellow goo on the bottom. EW! Great video (:
ОтветитьAmazing someone's got so much cash to waste flying all over the US to test out real rock-bottom courses, of which there are many, many more. As if you're warning people about doing the same - hardly likely.
ОтветитьI once went to a 15 dollar course for nine and it was ass
ОтветитьDude! Your game rocks but doesn’t hold a candle to your stand up comedy. You need to find a club on open mike night!
ОтветитьYou should try Falcons Fire around Orlando, what was once a good course going to hell.
Ответитьstill shooting lower than rick shiels
Ответитьthat Ft. Lauderdale course was gorgeous esp. compared to golf courses in rural north central Utah where it hardly ever rains and the state only doles out H2O at odd intervals....which means large sections of the course are either parched or under water w not much in between. OTOH with florida courses you have to be careful near the water hazards because they often contain large hungry reptiles with enormous teeth. Here we have mountain lions and bears so I always carry when golfing. PS - I wish you could review Ocean Meadows (aka "Ocean Ghettos") golf course in Santa Barbara California over near UCSB. I used to play there a lot c. 25 years ago....decent greens, mostly weeds & hardpan fairways. But alas it is no more, turned into a housing development.
ОтветитьI’ve played worse courses than #1, and some #3! #2 no!
ОтветитьLake side doesn’t look like it’s even open!
ОтветитьThis man did NOT shoot a 72 on Lakeside. Dude is BSing scores on a green you can't putt on.
ОтветитьWho thought he was gonna hit the coconut
ОтветитьThe second gave me two different vibes. It felt so dead and empty, seemed like you were in Chernobyl; then it also felt like a scene from a horror film where the golfer is killed at one point lol
ОтветитьYou’ll be happy to know that Lakeside (the second course) just came under new management and they are working on restoring the course. Would be great to check in a year or two from now to see if they can turn it around!
ОтветитьIf youre ever looking for more terrible courses, Old Orchard Golf Club in Eatontown NJ, clears all of the ones you showed in this video. Its a 90+ year old course that I’m sure was beautiful in past decades but not its over grown, mismanaged, and the greens are a wasteland.
ОтветитьAre there allowed to water golf courses in CA?
ОтветитьLakeside was pretty sad to see, it looks like it's been totally abandoned
ОтветитьI'd have a round at Bonaventure. It didn't look that bad.
ОтветитьI have done a similar series with disc golf courses on my channel.
ОтветитьDel Boca Vista
ОтветитьEmtitled white guy is entitled. Who is entertained by this?
ОтветитьJesus christ.. Texas.. you ok lol Holy F
ОтветитьWow! I grew up in South Florida, and played Bonaventure a bunch back in the 80's, back when it was first opened. It was actually a really great club 40 years ago, but as with all things, times change, and well, so do golf courses and people. But honestly, compared to a bunch of the other "worst courses" you are playing, Bonaventure looked to be in better shape than the rest of the lot.
ОтветитьDid you ever pay Mackenzie for your round??
ОтветитьIf you ever do another one of these, Riverside golf club in San Angelo, Tx is a worse version of the second course lol
ОтветитьI have a golf app called 18 birdies and I used it to follow along with your play. It was fun! Would appreciate if you voiced the holes you were playing once in a while cause the edits in the video caused me to lose my place. Love your videos though!
ОтветитьI commend the first course for trying to revitalize it. looks like they have heavy sand and aeration on the greens to keep the grass growing as well as the fairways in cirtain spots.
I think they're trying but it will take time
Ok with the Gatorade thing wouldn't they all be sealed bottles from a factory? That sounds like Gatorade's problem rather than the Club's
ОтветитьI use to live in Canyon Lake. I laughed out loud when you mentioned you couldn’t put the markers in any deeper. The entire area here has a few inches of soil then thick rock!
ОтветитьI dont play golf, but I would love to see what if someone makes a hell course.
ОтветитьAlmost as disastrous as the Pea Patch that used to be in Groves, Texas.
Ответить2nd courses greens maybe the most difficult greens possible.
ОтветитьIdly perusing your stuff but I subscribed over the antiscam rant. Honest people deserve props. :3
ОтветитьThat first course was pretty decent. The second one reminded me of the course Kevin Costner played in Tin Cup that was dirt.
ОтветитьLmfao 🤣 that second course legitimately looks like a post apocalyptic landscape!
ОтветитьGreenskeeper from Canada here - Those "damage" marks that you said were maybe caused by the mower (edit: on the first course) are actually intentional slices made by a specific machine. It can affect putting for a few days unfortunately, but it is how to propagate creeping styles of grasses. The slices will cut the stolons produced by the grass and create new growth to replenish bare spots. So yes it looks like they are trying to bring that course back to life. Fun Video!
ОтветитьI played a few holes at the sand golf course just east of Tonopah, Nevada, back in the 1970s. The course had been abandoned by then. The fairways were just desert that had been cleared, and the greens were made of sand. I always wondered what it might have been like when it was maintained.
ОтветитьAre you sure that last course wasn’t Chambers Bay . . . ???
Ответить
