You need to seriously consider dumping Bachmann as a contributor to this. They killed Williams and their N scale stuff that I have is the worst on the market. I love your channel but you can do better.

Unfortunately most of us don't have the money to afford the nice tools that you have, nor the sponsorship you have and the freebies that you get. Why don't you do videos geared towards the common everyday modeler. And I second the comment about Bachman and the toy train market not the serious model railroader.

I agree, the best video ever! You have explained everything slowly and clearly. You are a master of building and teaching. Thank you.

it's hard to believe that there is a circus still going since the Nazi Cairns in the world took our circus away when it traveled around the United States with the beautiful elephants and tigers

That machine shop building is one of the most underrated Walthers kit. Details that comes with it are awesome like fine scale windows, rain downspouts and nicely molded doors. It has a lot of potential. Inside and out.

Ken. I'm not interested in your What's neat this week series. However, I like your What's Neat, where you show how to do things! How do I subscribe to only these Videos?

Hello again from Down Under. Could not help noticing that Loco No. 1400 has an uncannily similar streamline cowling to the class leader of the NSWGR 38 class steam loco, 3801. These were Pacific type 4-6-2 where as 1400 is a Hudson (or Baltic in Europe) type 4-6-4. The first 5 (including 3801) were built with streamlining at Clyde Engineering in Granville (interchange station on the T1 Western line and T2 Inner West and Leppington Line). The other 25 (there were 30 in total) were built by the NSWGR themselves at Eveleigh (near Redfern, 1 station before Sydney Central Station) and Cardiff (near Newcastle, NSW). The even numbered ones were build at Eveleigh, the odd numbered ones at Cardiff. 😎🇦🇺

The building is stunning Ken. I also like all the power tools you have for making it so easy. I am interested in that milwaukee soldering iron 12 volt. I have to get one. Looking forward to part two. Your videos are so informative and I love your podcasts. I never miss them.

Hey Ken, from the Virginia mountains! Loved watching this video and love the What's Neat episodes! Just getting to the final track to lay on my 3rd layout and I have been using the gorilla glue clear construction adhesive to glue down my track. I love it! I glued my track right down to the plywood, not concerned about noise since the BLI engines in n scale are so loud you can't hear much else. Thanks for all the things you and all your homies do to keep us up to date on new items that come out! I use you guys for inspiration! Keep on railroading! EZ

Great video! FYI - the "sideways" saw is called a am saw. It's used to cut the bottom of a door jam to install thicker flooring under a door jam. - Brian

The Reading T-1s were not converted from 2-10-0s they were Baldwin Consolidations 2-8-0s that Reading remodeled into the 4-8-4 Northern T-1 types.

Hi Ken, I love your modelling and instructional videos. I'm a N scale modeller myself and I'm wondering if you would be able to build a beautiful N scale diorama in the future. Ones that's up to your high standard.

It's too bad that Bachmann has gone so far into Toy Trains and left On30 out, very disappointing.
Ken, your layout building is getting to be superior, IMO!
