I was there when I was a kid ! And I still remember the OST. That game was my first military game on PC. I'll never forget David Armstrong :D

When Bohemia Interactive started out they called the game Operation Flashpoint Cold War Crisis then they came out with 2 DLC upgrades OFP Red Hammer and OFP Resistance. I am so happy they made ARMA Reforger because it is bringing a lot of old memories. I was so into OFP I went to public libraries to download mods so I could install them at home. I didn't have internet back in 2002/2003. I really hope Bohemia goes back to creating single player campaigns. Who can forget legendary Victor Troska and insane General Guba, Kowalski, David Armstrong....point is with memorable campaigns you immortalize Operation Flashpoint for decades. To all those who didn't play original Operation Flashpoint CWC (First ARMA) I strongly suggest you buy and play that game.

I don't know why when playing Arma 3 it always lags, but when I tried Arma Reforger it was very, very smooth

Don’t buy this game! I repeat do not buy this game. The multiplayer is terrible and the people who run the servers can ban you anytime for no reason, which makes it a game you pay for but cannot play. The Elan servers are trash as everyone sits there and talks all day. If you shoot anyone in the servers, you get banned. The computer people who made this game likes playing god with the console people making the hours I played the game totally worthless. This game is trash for all console players. Computer people want there own world while steeling your personal information. Being dead serious, I have never played a game that takes you money then blocks you from being able to play it. Don’t waste your money this game is garbage. And to the Elan life server creators, you are a bunch of woke losers living in a fantasy land.

So I have a question, am I able to buy and host a public modded community server with only using a IOS iPhone? Or is it pc only?

Hi, I really hope ArmA4 will be set in the current modern day era. and somewhere in European forest/alpine regions. I'm sick and tired of cold war games and if ArmA4 will take that same path as shown in Reforger, i aint gonna get it and this will be the very first title in the entire OFP/ArmA franchise i'm not getting.
Currently i'm on the road to 8000 hrs in A3 and i would hate to see all the good stuff from A3 disappear in the new titles. I love adjusting my weapons with different scopes, bipods, silencers, and taking a swim or use my sub to get behind enemy players in Tanoa wasteland :p And most of all i love using drones. Hate to see this all being removed.

Why does it look so, Unrealistic?

The audio sound is perfect, the visual is great but not as perfect as Unreal Engine 5. Is it possible that you just use Unreal Engine 5 for graphics and use your audio engine? I really love your sound processing in this game. The only thing that is not perfect here is the visual. Although it looks perfect at first, the more I see Arma Reforger, the more I realize that it is far from real ray tracing technology. One thing I noticed in another video is that the interior lighting is not good, for example inside a cave. The cave should be totally dark, but it is not. Unreal Engine 5.2 graphics are still 10x better.

I hope you have all signed the open letter asking for a pause on further Arma4 development. The world is still coming to grips with the ramifications of Arma3 and isn't ready for Arma4. We need Arma safety!

Road to ArmA4: We remove the depth of ArmA so it can be optimized for play on consoles with a controller and its extremely limited control scheme. In the future we will be a more janky and worse version of Squad, but in our ignorance we believe we will sell more copies this way as technically we open up a previously closed market for us, Xbox and Playstation. However we are too greedy and stupid to appreciate the huge success we have found on the PC platform or to understand why we found that success, so instead of releasing a highly praised and anticipated game on PC and continue the good sales we had with ArmA3 we will now release a watered down piss take across PC, Xbox, and Playstation. We do not understand the concept of people buying products that are good but instead can only see how many total customers we reach out to and assume 100% of them will buy our product, which means this way we will make more money.

We will all be shocked when ArmA4 is met with Mostly Negative reviews on Steam and medicore sales performance on launch across all platforms. The playerbase will quickly die off as the soul of ArmA is no more and we will see almost no sales after initial release. We quickly abandon development on ArmA4 and we refuse to acknowledge what led us down this very predicable path that so many have walked before us.

Only a naive idiot unable to draw knowledge from the past is excited for ArmA4 after seeing the absolute pile of s*** that reforger is. Its slightly less jank than A3, sure, but its still a billion times more jank than a game like Squad. It also has far less depth than even Squad now and it is CLEAR based on what is missing that this is not a "beta" thing that caused it, this is due to controllers having so few buttons you have no choice but to cut out 90% of options so it works for controllers. So many things that made ArmA better and more interesting than other shooters are just gone. The identity of ArmA is not there anymore, ArmA reforger is CLEARLY a console game, ArmA4 will be the same.

Hot fucking garbage. I look forward to be part of the negative reviews of ArmA4 on release and wait eagerly for your CEO to write some sloppy excuse for the release failure and addressing the Mostly Negative reviews. It'll be like Darktide, but 10x worse.
