Forsaken Airfield on Interloper with no map knowledge (Blind playthrough)

Apparently the miners flashlight scares away aurora animals, did you know this and is it true for other flashlights?

So with this new map there are three places where you can find timberwolves now? Bleak Inlet, Blackrock and Airfield? Also what are your thoughts on the glimmer fog and the new insomnia affliction? Is it dangerous?

Is the teddybear a nod to Fallout 4 where you find teddybears all across the wasteland.

I've been playing this game since it came out but never really looked anything up or watched videos on it. I've learned so many things from watching your videos. Perhaps one of the most helpful being able to warm teas next to the fire😊

I'm not a big fan of the glimmer fog. It seems like it appears almost every day.

Lol... It's a good thing I watch a lot of British television because the subtitle program does not account for your accent. If I tried to base my understanding on the subtitles I wouldn't understand half of what you say

Since you're on interloper, I'm going to go ahead and guess that the available loot to find in the next map is mostly nothing.

More searching for the same stuff in an areas that looks the same as other poi's . Just scattered differently. Game lost its fun fast for me.

Is there a mine on this map? In the hut on top of the cliff there seems to be a message mentioning a mine. Has anyone found out where it is?

why is it, that water is prepared in a can, or a pot, but the icon is a gallon milk jug, yet when you deposit water in the world it's NEITHER OF THOSE?! couldn't the menu icon at least be the 1L bottle?

Well I think bullets in interloper should be fine, I mean you can disassemble them to get gunpowder that can be used to start a fire.

I def learned the expression "check every nook and cranny" from you - i love it :D Learning sayvings in other languages makes you sound less and less like a school kid at some point - hopefully. Did they make fatigue more brutal? Or is it just forgiving on Interloper? I'm on Voyager, Will can't run any where without needing to sleep. I don't think this was the case 2 years ago

In stalker i found a bear skin bedroll in that little room over the rail cars in transfer pass. Great video. i had fun going into this area blind, and took much longer than you to find things. i learn something every time i watch your videos.

I feel like the water consumption needs tweaking. No one needs an entire gallon of water twice a day in the cold. Dude would be peeing every five minutes

Doing a play through now and didn’t have a weapon to hunt with. Could catch fish but realized the calories wouldn’t be sustainable “kept getting baby fish” got 3 fish worth 1200 calories and could get more than that quicker with cattails. So got a rock and a torch lured a wolf to a deer then scared the wolf away and got a free deer lol. Then found a pistol had 1 bullet. Ran outta food. Shot a deer in the face. Now I’m about to get full and go to a different area for more loot. Probably shoulda saved the bullet tbh but whatever I wanted to shoot something

After getting to day 244 now and fully exploring the airfield, I have to be honest; the new map is kinda boring, like muskeg. I'm also not understanding insomnia. Apparently you can still sleep but you just wake up randomly. Is this status just pointless like "Pain" or am I missing something? Still, the glimmer fog chance made it really hard to explore the region and I still somewhat liked the challenge of navigating it.

also when you were climbing down from the mindful cabin, i guess im not the only one who feels that fall damage in the long dark is absolutely insane

I am not playing this game at a high-level so I don’t understand why you feel that they should remove the small guns handbook? I don’t understand the “what’s the point?” mentality about it

Not played LD for nearly 4 years. I hope they have fleshed out the late game of survival mode because it gets a bit stale. I’ll check it out in a year from now.

I've just brought a day 60 interloper profile out here that was probably one of my most efficient runs to date, and it is brutal in terms of available calories within the time you have to travel. At least in my gameplay.
He seemed to get luckier with clear days.
I've had the fog multiple times directly after normal aurora multiple blizzards, and not clear weather on the moderate temp days.

Get your matches and whatever else you came for and get out lmao

Also, the helicopter 'landing gear' has white boxes on it to be looted as well

Be honest, how many times did you restart until you got a bedroll in the hunting lodge :P

How do you place items around campfires like that? Placing in my game just goes through the regular ui
