Depends on what regime, if the original Facist one then we wouldve been seen as unfavorable just like Spain and would keep Croatian politicans on edge, we wouldnt be a part of the cold war and we would have very tense relations with the Serb socialist state because of the war crimes we commited against them and our close proximity to Belgrade due to our ownership of Srijem. We could either be funded by both sides or destroyed by the communist bloc though i dont think the invasion would happen because everyone was scared of making moves in Europe. If the Facist goverment was overthrown and a Republican one established we could maintain those borders to this day because we had neutralish relations with the Bosniaks, and the Yugoslav country that would be left after ww2 would also maintain its borders because we were, aswell as the Bosniaks the largest ethnic groups which lead to the eventual fall of Yugoslavia, but dont take anything what i said as facts, im a Croat that just speculates what couldve happened

If Croatia get Independent than Yugoslavia probably wouldn't collapse, and these borders would may remain until today

Most likely scenario would be a union of Illyria as Croatia being the head member after the collapse of Austro-Hungary
