Netflix believes in it so much they already cancelled it.

I did like the show and casting was phenomenal but in my personal opinion I wasn’t a fan of the ending and the way they merged the stories of six of crows to the trilogy but that’s just me

I personally think the books are better but the show is amazing too

It's actually very sat to watch what kind of mess is the second season😢 Every time when netflix makes something not completely trashy, they always delete everything good and replace it with even more bad sides of the first season. Like, WHY?!😭 Like first season of Witcher was not hopeless, but they are made it hopeless in second! Now, they made the same with Shadow and Bone🤬

i wish that ORIGINAL ALINA [ both books & tv series , ] had more substance as a character & a protagonist , its just that ALINA is a very bland , annoying & boring character for me. seriously it's almost painful how uninteresting ALINA is. i want to like her but i just can't. as for MAL in the books , MAL actually gets it worst because he's both an ASSHOLE & a satellite love interest. in the tv series MAL is a hollow character because the writers took away his ASSHOLE traits but didn't fill the gaps in his character with anything of substance , plus he's still a satellite love interest which is a new low for a main character to sink too. i don't know why the original author LEIGH BARDUGO didn't merge MAL & ALINA characters into one character. the original trilogy would have been more intriguing & entertaining that way i think. because the plotline for the first trilogy is awesome. the GRISHA VERSE is fascinating & brilliant but the first trilogy is not fun , which in large part is the original author fault because ALINA is such a dull & depressing character. i apologize if you like ALINA or MAL but i stand by what i said. i know the original author was new when the first trilogy came out , so i understand but how do you make such a magnificent & amazing world & world building & than write such a dour & annoying protagonist. it boggles the mind. ALINA & MAL suck as protagonists. It just blows my mind that LEIGH BARDUGO the AUTHOR who wrote ALINA & MAL , also wrote KAZ , NINA & NIKOLAI [ they are AWESOME ] , plus the others

i don’t like the Shadow and Bone book that much but i absolutely love Six of Crows so i loved the sub-plot with Kaz and the others

Honestly I loved Shadow And Bone and Six of Crows so I honestly was very happy hearing that there was a show. I loved it but I was a bit sad a couple of my favorite scenes was gone but other then that it's pretty good

Damn the show was really bad D: It had ALOT of problems with continuity and storytelling. It felt like scenes were missing and characters had stupid choices to make so that the story could do what it wanted instead of what would be logical for the characters to do. It was a really big mess both seasons :o How is such a bad series so well loved? :o or has such a big scoring on all the critic score places XD

the first impression I ever got of the books was when I was in 6th grade and some kid was like

This was my first exposure to shadow and bone and two years later , having watched both seasons of the show and read all the books, I’m honestly so glad I watched this video as it lead me down the rabbit hole of a lifetime.

If your between 12 and 17 then this is for you but for any mature viewers this is a pile of garbage.

I must admit, the show is really predictable... like, you know what characters do 5min earlier and not because you've got to know them😂

But apart from that it's fine

I read the first book and only now watched the show. Gotta say, the show is actually better than how I remember the books. I didn’t really like Alina in the books, but I do in the show. And they adapted it very, very beautifully.

Dumb Netflix typical girl MC, for whom all boys are monsters but the one she finds sexy enough or has a crush on until it is revealed he is also a bad boy aka a villain. Yeah yeah. Flavorless shyt. I guess I miss old school romances and true chivalry epic tales. Young woke ppl sure have different taste nowadays, all about inclusion and female superiority complexes... Hard pass to me. I'll go read LotR once again for the 999th times. At least, it has the decency to know what Good story means.
