"In the Pattern Department" sounds like a 20 minute long psychedelic prog song.
ОтветитьGreat vid guys, been needing something to change things up for me! p.s. if you put the video at .75% speed you can see Matt do the lesson a little tipsy.
ОтветитьSounds very cool, BUT you go way too fast for me to understand what u r saying & you play it way, way too fast for me to see what u r doing. Please slow it down - I this is a great lesson & I want to be able to learn it all.
ОтветитьWould love to hear a conversation between Matt Garstka and Gavin Harrison!
Ответитьi really appreciate the mix here, matt's drum sound is always really... particular, but you don't usually get to actually hear what it sounds like mostly natural.
ОтветитьTrue drummer👍
ОтветитьDrumoff = Matt vs. Anika
ОтветитьFreak MONSTER!
what a powerhouse!
very impressive
first drummer to actually make this clear to me.... and he did it without even thinking about it, natural teacher
ОтветитьIt would be great if you could slow it down. Do you remember when you were learning at 1st. You have so many drum teachers going a hundred miles an hour. That's great for guys that have been on the journey for awhile. But you could teach the same thing to buggies if you would slow it down.
ОтветитьThat snare is godly
Ответить“Yeah, is basically it!”
ОтветитьThat pattern at the beginning between the snare and splash... Dam!
Ответитьparadiddling right foot and left hand is most useful tip I've seen!
ОтветитьFucking Predator!
Bilion thumb's up!
Are you Polish Matt?
ОтветитьWhole time I'm just thinking "MATT where's your ear protection!?" lol. Love the teaching, some really great insights.
ОтветитьMatt’s out here looking like a registered nurse
ОтветитьProblem is few, very few have doubles left hand ghost speed like Matt. Very very few. And that is a big part.
ОтветитьMuito bom mas tem que colocar a partitura da
ОтветитьMusicien très solide, avec toute une frappe
ОтветитьWho else knew him in Shed sessions Gospelchops before AAL? Hands up!!! XD
ОтветитьIf only my skill and expression level was at a place where I struggled to use words to explain it.
ОтветитьThe endless beauty of sticking combinations. Nice work!
ОтветитьGood drummer. Not a good teacher.
ОтветитьSmall cymbals
Ответитьthe timelord, what kit is this guys, love the poooph from the kick
Ответитьwhat i need to learn to build my own path in drumming? how to see the "whole map" and choose my own way?
ОтветитьMatt dressed like a nurse here because he's truly clinical on the drums.
ОтветитьGreat video!
ОтветитьThere is just nobody even close to him
ОтветитьMatt Muthaf**kin Garstka!!!!!
ОтветитьThat kit sounds so good!
ОтветитьMatt is always pushing his drumming forward. Love it man!
ОтветитьHe even speaks in odd time signatures.
ОтветитьA good example of Gary Chaffee application concepts.
ОтветитьI keep going back to the beginning groove 🔥
ОтветитьOmg no wonder I like 5s. I’ve been listening it from this guy. RLRRL. Staple for this guy.
ОтветитьPLAYS LIKE THE BEAST
TALKS LIKE A BEAUTY
Well, listen to Morgan Ågren. He make strange things with the drums
ОтветитьI think the word he is referring to is elements ✌️.
ОтветитьAlta data tiraste Matt, sos un capo guachooo
Ответитьhow this guy looks and sounds like an uncle but plays drums like a beast ... im confused
ОтветитьIf the drums just come to you, you dont need to constantly count and all that... Example matt garstka lol
ОтветитьSo I noticed every time it did a close-up of his ghost notes, the stick hit the exact same spot every single time 👀🤘
ОтветитьThanks Matt for showing us these techniques and leveling us up...much appreciated!!
