If there was a magic genie who could
make ONE problem disappear in your
life, what would it be?
Comment below, and I might make a
video to help you make that problem
disappear.
Mr Dan you are the Boss👊💯
Ответитьwow did man is great
ОтветитьPlease reduce the background music, very important suggestions portraying
Ответить@DanLok How much do you charge for joining "High Ticket Closer Program" ?
ОтветитьI just negotiated my salary up by $12000 based on this video! Thank you!
ОтветитьThe issue is 95% of employees don't have this mindset.
ОтветитьRespect you sir
ОтветитьWhat is too early
Ответитьmy life changed every time when I here ure motivational quotes
ОтветитьAm glad to have come across this wonderful opportunity of enlightening through Sifu Dan Lok. As an aspiring Leader, Entrepreneur and Businessman, just the few days I have been going through previous videos, I have digested a lot.
Thanks for the master pieces Sir.
Wow, that was just beautiful! Thank you so much for this!
ОтветитьThe average employee would never get a face to face with the CEO. Chances are you won't even be negotiating with a person that can actually approve a raise. Lol
ОтветитьThank You, Thank You. Much Appreciated . Very True. " You don't get higher pay, because you demand it, You get Higher Pay because You Deserve it" .Love and Respect Always, Mr Dan Lok. We love You. Please keep making Videos like this. Also your Wing Chun/ Jeet Kune Do Videos are very Instructive and appreciated.❤❤❤👍👍👍
ОтветитьYour videos helped me get the job I wanted, and now I'm setting a new goal. Gratefull for the lessons. 🙏
Ответитьok I understand and agree with what you say, but I have a question what to do if the employer corporation says' we pay the best in the industry; our HR is doing reaserch; and if you don't like it, no one is keeping you here and you can always change jobs, etc 'and looking through job offers it turns out that they do not necessarily pay the best in the market if you can convince them that this is not the case.
ОтветитьWow. Wow. You wont find this elsewhere what he is saying. Listen very carefully. He is giving lifetime advise in this short video.
ОтветитьYeah that's how I talk to my boss - "you see Mr. Employer..."
Haha just kidding, thanks Dan, great content as always.
This was very helpful. I'm going to try this in my next salary discussion.
ОтветитьAwesome
ОтветитьI love love this❤❤. Thank you very much.
ОтветитьA got the job offer with other employer with higher salary and with great position, however, my current employer offered a counter offer. What should I do? Should I accept the counter offer with the same salary offered by other employer? Or say no. And join the new company with career advancement opportunities
Ответитьcommenting on point 7. what if the employer just said, we don't have a budget! Your answer was assuming that the job we are doing is sales, not all jobs can generate $$$ to use this argument.
ОтветитьMy only comment is when negotiating with new employers it's not that easy to set what you will do and what you will change. some employers need you to do what you have been asked to do. maybe this point is valid when negotiating with an existing employer.
Ответить<3 thank you very much, it is really very useful and practical
Ответитьthankyou for the good advice, just successfully negotiated a pay rise after a few years at the company, following completing training and becoming more valuable to the company, this was difficult as had to be done by text due to manager being away but your tips helped me to illustrate my worth without it turning into a conflict, tricky and walk away power i think was the clincher. nerve racking but worth it. thankyou for your help Dan
ОтветитьYou are the rock star! Thank you so much for this info.
Ответитьman i was listening to him wile running on a treadmill . trust me i didnt have to drink my pre workout booster
ОтветитьSuperb... Profound thanks for posting a true, invaluable mentoring
ОтветитьLong live the Chinese Dragon, thank you so much!!!
ОтветитьU r superbbbbb
ОтветитьI was lucky I've found this video... its easier to understand, practical, informative, and what's best is giving employees insight to an employer's perspective.
Ответитьlove the last tip!!! so impressive! thanks Dan!
ОтветитьThanks Dan, this is amazing advice. It seems like many employees are in a situation where their managers or 'leaders' are themselves not all that savvy, able to recognize the value in their employees, not in it for the company and are just skating by - how would an ambitious employee work with or navigate around such a manager/leader?
ОтветитьVery helpful..A BIG THANK YOU🙏
ОтветитьYes…. That’s the truth: who generates more revenue… is all that count. And performing….doing things that is valuable.
ОтветитьThis is a fantastic video!!
ОтветитьI have written down the tips for those who wish to have them at a glance.
Please watch the video once or twice or more in order to understand these tips in great detail. I have only written them down so that it's easy for me to go through without watching the video for the nth time. 😅
TIPS :
1️⃣ Do not try to negotiate via text or email.
You need to be confident when going into a salary negotiation.
2️⃣ Come to the meeting with facts, not feelings.
If it's a brand new company, tell them what you can contribute and what they can expect from you. If it's the current company you are working in, present them the facts about your contribution and how you have fulfilled/exceeded their expectations.
3️⃣ Ask Questions. Don't make statements.
Whoever asks the questions, controls the conversation.
4️⃣ Set the Agenda.
What's being accomplished from this meeting? What's the purpose and what would be the outcome?
5️⃣ Don't be needy.
Don't use sentences such as I want / I need such and such amount.
Instead say, "I would be more comfortable with...."
6️⃣ Become more valuable.
Keep upgrading your skills. Bring value to the company. Years don't mean results. It's how you have benefited the company.
7️⃣ Painting a picture in the employer's mind. (after hearing a no)
Don't feel defeated and don't look needy. Know what they should be expectating from you. Make them realize that you are willing to develop.
Hope this helps!! Wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
Your videos are very helpfull in my job
ОтветитьDuring or after interview, if hiring manager says "we have few candidates that we are comparing among others, what's the lowest salary you would accept"? How do we answer that?
ОтветитьG8.. day to day anybody face such question s... !
Thanks fr clarity & articulated 100%.
Thanks for sharing 👍
ОтветитьThat genie would arrange me a proper job matching my skills, where I could develop as person, be invaluable person fro the company and make more success and revenue to company, where I could learn more and expand my skill set, instead of busting free without any compensation for bureaucracy. Well, as we know genies belong to fairy tales, and fairy tales are far from reality. So let's keep rocking on working and planning new ideas.
Ответить☝️☝️
ОтветитьThank you for this Dan! I feel more confident and ready for my negotiation tomorrow.
"There is never a lack of opportunities, all it takes is your willingness, your ambition, your skills, willing to go that extra mile, willing to go all-in..."
I love this.
ОтветитьTwo months after this video Dan Lok is bankrupt as all his employees mastered the art of getting higher salaries
ОтветитьWhat if you’re working for an Organization that doesn’t generate revenue? How would you negotiate a salary? Can you do a video on this?
ОтветитьMr. Dan Lok you very brilliant. Kodus!👏🎉. And thank you🌞
ОтветитьLol
