Wera is an electrician brand, so all tools and designs are based on the fact that electricians have weak wrists, soft hands and a maluable will.
Ответитьany chance of the craftsman version of the rbrt line being bought and added to the ranking? at only 80$ a set it could be an absolute steal.
Ответитьthose arent "spanners" google "spanner wrench" its an entirely different kind of tool. it looks like a hook... and reaches around the back of a splined/keyed nut/washer/cylinder... stop calling end wrenches, spanners.. its not a spanner...
ОтветитьUnsure if anyone has asked.. but I'd love to see the new Craftsman Overdrive which oddly enough looks damn close to RBRT
ОтветитьCould you please look at incorporating Teng Tools, King Tony and Toptul in your next hand tool test.
ОтветитьHow about the williams super combo?
ОтветитьImma stick with my snap on wrenches....mainly because i cant afford to go into debt with another tool company haha
ОтветитьWhen I know my wrench is going to be put to its torque limits....I always use the open end 😂
Ответитьusag makes an identical set and I’m going to get those 🔥🔥🔥
ОтветитьY'all planning of showing MF Wrench in the future ( Mass Fabricator )
ОтветитьWhere was Milwaukee?
ОтветитьCan you test the capri wave drive
ОтветитьMac, snap, made it more accessible to purchase they would sell more.
ОтветитьI wonder if it's possible to make a better wrench by offsetting the handle towards the leading edge. That way the leading jaw is attached more rigidly to the handle, which will impart a slight self-tightening effect, a little bit like a snap wrench has.
ОтветитьThe Mac RBRT wrench's are just rebranded USAG wrench's that Mac triples the price on. While they are effective for removing damaged fasteners, they have a 6 point design that renders them virtually worthless as an every day use wrench, so you still need a good set of 12 point combination wrench's. The cheap, chrome vanadium steel they are made from will not hold up in the long term. No way I would pay over $300 for a set of Taiwan/China made chrome vanadium wrench's. The Snap On's are USA made from chrome boron steel and will last much longer (decades).
ОтветитьPut the wrench on something unbreakable and intentionally break the wrench to see how strong it really is.
See if the open end opens up more or if the tool bends or breaks. Then see what happens to the closed end.
Get someone to stamp out or cut out a titanium tool to just see how it fares.
Just got to use an 8mm on a bolt that had partially rounded. One of those you know a wrench shouldnt take off.. put on the box end and it went to work taking it off immediately no problem. These are worth every penny just in time saved alone
ОтветитьFor a budget version of the MAC RBRT, check out the USAG 285X 12 piece. Just ordered from Tech's Choice. Exact same set minus the 6 and 7 and missing the case clip for $199.
ОтветитьI've got the RBRT hex keys, and they work great
