Interesting list overall. Twinsanity is definitely the Crash game with the most going on out of the entire series with interesting ideas. And I respect that ambition. It also helped made me realize how much narrative potential Crash has in addition to gameplay.

But I kind of feel the same way about the game and its influence that PS2 ratchet and clank fans feel about the future trilogy.

It sacrificed a lot of the OG charm and style for a bold, new direction. And the games after continue to take influence from that direction. Granted, I can still have a fun time with most post twinsanity sequels, but it's a different kind of fun I just don't enjoy as much. The remakes + Crash 4 kind of fix this but also don't at the same time, which makes them kind of conflicting overall for me.

I think crash of titans is a very underrated unapreciated game, especially a new fresh concept of crash bandicoot even if this game doesnt fullfill all the criteria.

Crash twinsanity deserves first place

I went into this video thinking that Crash Twinsanity would be somewhere in the middle or near the top, I thought no one else would rank it as I would as number #1, and it’d be my secret as a Crash fan… I was filled with joy to see the placement in this video :))

Your opinion shouldn’t actually be legally released to the public that’s how stupid it is. The fact you say that you could rate crash of the titans poorly simply due to the fact that it strays from the original formula is just brain dead… don’t even get me started on your opinion on tag team racing, “the ai drives perfectly so you can win easily” ofc that’s your opinion when your point of view is a lonely old man, playing this games with friends as a child and an adult is awesome, exploring the map with friends finding awesome things for endless hours and doing the same a decade later and having the exact same amount of fun, you literally just don’t understand how to review something, you didn’t even MENTION the soundtrack, which is one of the most important aspects of a video game, notice how you didn’t mention any of the soundtracks and if you did it was a mere “yeah that soundtrack is good” but it doesn’t even impact the rating? You suck never play a crash game again I’ll smack you

I can breeze through OT 100+% completion easily, but I kinda missed "that" feeling of enjoyment in the end. It's just not the same anymore. N. Sane got that fixed for a while, but it's still the "same" trilogy at the end of the day. Crash 4 really brings out that feeling back when I played and completed it. It's fresh, new, longer, completions were hella LONG and HARD, but that's the good stuff for me, it motivates my childhood rage again.

In conclusion, I couldn't care less if some view it as sloggy and the levels are too long, to me, the more Crash time, the better. This game rejuvenate my love for Crash more than replaying the OT and N. Sane trilogy, even more "nostalgic" as I got said enjoyment back. I'd rather keep replaying this for now, at least until it "worn out" again like the Original Trilogy lol

When the N sane trilogy came out, the moment I played Crash 2 it felt very off compared to the original. I absolutely love og Crash 2, I remember 100% at least once a year but I could tell that the faults of the remake’s controls and issues with Crash’s new movement style were more prominent in Crash 2. Like your video mentioned, that regular jumping feeling useless and the falling animation being way more quicker leading to making more precise jumps than the original.

Ngl it was a little disappointing when I first played it and replaying the game again those issue were still present. Also visually compared out of the remakes it’s probably the worst looking imo. It’s less colorful than the original and a lot of the art style from the original feels somewhat lost compared to the crash 1 and 3 remakes.

But I felt that remake of crash 2 is still a lot of fun and I think without the N sane trilogy we wouldn’t have the new wave of Crash content.

Personally I liked tag team racing, to me it's by far the best game out from the original series after twinsanity and crash 4

Though we do have to all admit that it would be nice if more people could play Twinsanity as that game sold really poorly and so many people can't easily experience it. As this game was only sold on the PS2 and Xbox and that was because the Gamecube one was randomly cut and yeah its a buggy mess in some spots but it makes it so good. It also shows what could have been for the crash series as a new evolution. Yeah i get why some are like no dont remake this game but i would do it and that is partly because the original team that made the game wants to finish what they started and i feel like they should be able to get their chance now the issue with remaking it is what do you do with WOC but yeah i love Twinsanity and always recommend it.

i think crash games should stick with the platformer theme. and if they wanna go into the more adventure like vibe... they should just go the banjo and kazooie route of game play, clearly with a game like tag team racing for example they are completely capable to making such a game. idk why they haven't tried this format yet and it'd open up alot with what they could do story wise, an open world game similar to banjo would be amazing and i'd love to see that happen.

Honestly I'm in the same boat, I don't think twinsanity should get a full remake, it just wouldn't be the same.
However, I'd love a HD remaster! I would love the ability to skip cutscenes, as if you're not very good at certain parts, they could get very annoying

Crash of the titans was one of my favorite games if not my favorite when I was in elementary. I used to tell people even up til high school it is my favorite video game of all time, so to see it so low hurts. That being said, I haven’t played it since I was a little kid so going back to it would probably prove it’s not as great as I once thought.

The Wrath of Cortex is the only game I've ever played in the Crash Bandicoot series. I believe I played it on the PS2 in 2006.

Im glad someone finally mentioned this. I love how broken twinsanity is, im not a speedrunner or someone who tries doing glitches but breaking the game is so much fun and adds so much replayability to an already replayable game.

This man literally ranked the nsane trilogy remakes below the ps1 versions only due to nostalgia. Like what is this guy doing? What the hell do you mean most of the music from the originals are better than the remakes!? It’s your opinion, ik. But how the hell do you think this?

I was at first questioning your takes on the original trilogy remake, but after seeing your take on the PS1 versions of the game, the criticisms are rather fair and justified. I grew up on just Crash 2, Nitro Cart, Twinsanity, Wrath of Cortex and Tag Team Racing. Overall, your placement of each turned out to be exactly where I would have put them all.

I don't get you about Twinsanity at all, like i know it got charm but it's also shit on many aspect

The game feel like Jak & Daxter but buggier and all around worse, that pile up to make one of the most frustrating mainline game

I don't see what is genious about the level design, it's either generic at best and frustrating at most,
Let's not forget the part where it's basically, empty space with some puzzles that if they kill you, will probably make you watch a cutscene

Also the lack of checkpoint, which make every bad thing 10 times worse

I grew up with an N64 and MK64. I recently played Crash Team Racing and was like "where has this BIN MY WHOLE LIFE??" It's beautifully made.

I love that Crash 2 was second on the list! It was my first Crash game and had always been my favorite! Love the music and gameplay!

I can sum it all up. Naughty Dog made Crash Bandicoot and they did it the best.

My Life will be complete if we get a Crash Twinsanity Remake with all the cut levels added in so it would be fully finished like it was suppose to be if it wasn’t heavily rushed. Crash Twinsanity had so much potential. The Game deserves a Second Chance 😊💎
