My hubby and I LOVE TROY LANDRY AND HIS FAMILY. We are GREAT fans of, "Swamp People". That love made it SUPER EASY {despite BOTH of our loathing of snakes} to transfer to the 🐍 snake catching program after/from, "Swamp People" to this show. The ONE THING [Person(s)] that we missed was/were the rest of his family. We missed Jacob and THE REST on this 🐍 snake catching program ~ since you are such an important part of Swamp People as well. THANK YOU SO MUCH, Mr. LANDRY and History Channel ~ for bringing Mr. Landry and the family, as well as Zak (Joey's partner on, "Swamp People" ~ and Bruce's partner on, "Snake Invasion")!!! Don't know about you all, but every program where folks are out hunting those big snakes & they catch them alive, put them in a bag, etc., have you ever wondered why they don't just kill them on the spot ?? I looked it up for Florida & the legalities & all. I was surprised to learn that as far as the state of Florida goes, they use a lot of nice words about "humanely euthanizing" the invasive species ASAP, but it means if you see one or find one, you should do a "humanely" on it. You can use a bang stick, a firearm, a machete, a sledgehammer, a Samurai sword... ! The most important thing they say is to destroy the snakes brain immediately so it doesn't suffer. I guess that's humanely. I would think that if you can kill a 500 pound gator with a .22, it should suffice for a snake.

Catching them is a stupid waste of time, a performance for the cameras. ... You can kill a helluva lot more of them than you can catch. ... shoot it, throw it in the truck, move on to the next one.

Why is there a season to catch these Python's, if they need to be eradicated period,it should be an open season,stop playing with them shoot them on the spot no risk to no one,shoot + remove one can't stop blood seeping from an open wound with a band aid.

These snakes do not need to be saved, don’t even need to handle them. Just walk and paddle the glades with a sawed off shotgun loaded with buckshot. Kill ‘em all. All this handling is just a useless show, just go hunting day after day and shoot them in the head. They need to hire teams of paid hunters who do it for a living.
