Those frames are junk.... very prone to rust.
ОтветитьHi Scott I'm going to look for one .I like my jeeps me .thanks for they info. K I like your channel. 👍👌🙏
ОтветитьWrangler owner. Hes spot on. Clean your grounds once a year and wash your frame, mud retains moisture and rots your metal faster. Replace the valve cover hose gaskets and it will smooth out the rpm. Super common for those to cook under that domed hood and start to leak pressure. (Positive pressure not vacuum controlled)
ОтветитьYes you can drive a Jeep on many long trips it's actually more capable than your everyday SUVs Be careful with your Jeep Scotty will tear it up because he only cares about foreign car makers
ОтветитьMy ‘99 Wrangler Sport has ruined me on all other vehicles.
ОтветитьI've got a 99. It's a five speed, and I love it. Had it almost ten years now. What's crazy is that mine has 138,000 miles on it. Not kidding.
The five speed is better on the highways. I can down shift into 4th gear on a steep upgrade and get up to speed with the higher rpm's.
2009 JK Wrangler 2D Manual. Love it. Thing is a beast if it can't go there you don't need to be there.
ОтветитьYour super freaking cool dude 😎💯👍👍
ОтветитьEverything Jeep...a waste of effort and cash. I rather walk then be caught driving an overrated money pit.
ОтветитьI live in ohio. I've seen a lot of jeeps. That Jeeps never been driven in the salt. It would have been rotted out above the wheel wells if it was driven in the salt. Jeeps don't do well up here
ОтветитьOnly Problems I found with my tj wrangler #1 rusted frame #2 cracked exhaust manifold #3 radiator #4 wiper motor. All parts to fix these problems i found on ebay. Upgrade the steering stabilizer to heavy duty. Brakes are not very good. Front seats are really weird shaped. Stereo upgrade is a must. Other than that its great quality.
ОтветитьI can't stand you or your voice.
ОтветитьThis grandpa is obviously a short and small person (like me 5,7 140lbs)
Hes got a miata, a Jeep wrangler, and a Corvette Stingray, all vehicles designed around someone with a very small stature.
Love it all
Except for the bad habit of blowing head gaskets because of the poor head castings in the 99. The older ones didn't have the problem.
ОтветитьGet a JL Jeep you can do anything Time you get done with it Scottie you have it scratched up and tore up you don't like American cars putting the Hood against the glass
ОтветитьCan't stand you bud.
ОтветитьVery lucky the frame isn't rustled out. My 2002 was a great machine but I had to have the frame redone. It's really common depending where you get them.
ОтветитьO.K. The 1994 Toyota Celica Jeep. Got it...
Ответитьan ohio tj will have a rusty frame. This one seems to have been repaired...so what!?! so has mine! Great vehicles, but certainly now too old to be bought as a daily driver. Get one for fun and you will have a smile on your face that you won't be able to wipe off. It's a hobby, not just a vehicle. Plenty of parts available and of course mods as well if that's your thing.
ОтветитьI cant stand those angry eyes on jeeps
ОтветитьThere is nothing like a (OllllllO) the body is just as loyal as a Porsche 911 and im fortunate enough to own both. They are both completely diametrically apposed however one does a thing superior over the other and its great to explore the fun of driving from both opposite ends.
I own both my dream cars.
I have a 1999 jeep wrangler Sahara straight 6 in my basement garage. Runs great but they won’t inspect it because the frames are rusted out.a
Quarter of 1,000,000 miles
Love my TJ with the 4.0. Very fun to drive around and I can do most of the repairs myself. I may get another with lower miles down the road because I’d like to have one for another 20 years or so
ОтветитьI really wanna have a beer with this guy
ОтветитьHi Scotty can you review a stock 2023 Jeep Gladiator Overland 8 speed v6 automatic?
Ответитьphil collins explained a lot, thanks for the info 👍
Ответить4.0l Jeep Cherokee XJ …..
ОтветитьI knew a rich lady back in the day that got a brand new jeep and didn't want it. She sent it back to put AC in it. I think she went with automatic over manual too. All real jeeps are usually manual too. I think she was the first Karen before there were Karens ruining everything.
ОтветитьI barley got a peek but the frame looked repaired to me
ОтветитьThis vehicle was never taken offroad. If it had in Ohio, it would be covered in limb scratches
ОтветитьThis video made me so happy lol, me and my dad just got my first car today, 2000 Jeep wrangler sport. So excited, it’s a work in progress and will be ready when I can get my permit !!!
ОтветитьJust bought a 74.
ОтветитьI love my 2004 TJ with the 4.0. Parts are easy to find too.
ОтветитьThe best mod for a jeep, especially a black jeep is to paint the roof white. What a difference that makes under the blazing sun!
ОтветитьScotty is the car/truck content goat.
ОтветитьMine 2010 jeep not shifting :/ stays on first gear automatic
ОтветитьDude I have a 2010 jeep so many problems already since I’ve had it :/ need a Honda civic
ОтветитьFrame was welded
ОтветитьScotty your the best.
ОтветитьI took a long time to get used to this channel, and dare i say, at first i didnt like it. Nowadays though it's one of my top 3 channels. Scottys mannerisms and the way he explains things is absolutely gold!
ОтветитьDude I love this guy.
Ответить240K on my 2012 Wrangler. Yes, it requires maintenance for minor issues. I can do it and it's cheaper than a new car. If you can't do the maintenance on our own, it will nickel and dime you to death. I'm hoping for another 200K.
ОтветитьYup I had a 99 Jeep XJ, lasted over 300,000 miles lifted 5inches, geared, 33’s, and long arms, it was a good trail rig and daily, sold it. Now I’m back in a 97 XJ with 214k on the clock 👍🏽
ОтветитьI drove a 1990 wrangler hardtop stick from chicago to belize and back. at 69 the fiberglass top resonates and it feels like you are driving inside of a bass drum, at 72 it gets squirrely
ОтветитьI have had a 2003 Jeep Liberty for a long time that I bought from a grandpa a few years ago. Do you know if you could review common problems with those? Most recently, the lower ball joint broke on the driver's side left wheel.
ОтветитьEnjoyed this show. I own a 2017 Jeep Patriot Latitude. I consider it the right choice for Grandpa. 47.000 miles
Ответитьpepperoni wheel
Ответить😂 I love this guy
ОтветитьDon't buy a new one with an Italian engine and pepperoni steering wheel. This is obviously garaged throughout the winters to look this clean.
