I actually never had a dGPU and I'm editing 4K videos. I was editing on AMD Ryzen 5 3500U but a month ago I upgraded to Ryzen 7 7700U and I still don't need another graphics card on system

In-depth explanations, thanks. RYZEN 5700G consumes a lot of power during long-term use. Say a similar Intel Processor would be helpful.

Need best overclocking.
Could you tell a VGA Card for this Ryzen 7 5700G?

I'm planning on a build using the 5700g and upgrading it with a GPU later on. I want to use the PC mainly for screen recording OSRS and editing videos - and possibly streaming it as well. My concern is without a GPU I don't know if I'll drop FPS when I screen record and I've had that issue with my current laptop. Do you think that APU would be strong enough without a GPU or should I look into another route with a GPU from the get go? Thank you, and great video!!

Wait a minute !!! what a untenable "test".......hes just checking playback....thats all.....theres no color grade or fx or filters or anything.....not even sound fx and any overlays or text NOTHING......just the footage dropped on the timeline, one single track... and played back. My i3 (6100) plays this back without a single dropped frame.....hell it played back 2 DCI 4K 100mbps files simultaneously overlapped without a single frame drop ....NO DGPU.... ofcourse media drives were all SSD. But what a joke of a test. In the real world u would just drop a clip on the timeline and playback and smile and go for render ? No wonder he never replies to logical questions from viewers posted in the comments section.

He doesn't even say NOW OVER TO AMD or anything.....we are here.....nice and smooth (intel) and pressing play over here (its already switched to AMD) gotta keep my eyes stuck to the corner of the video as i watch ? Ive heard of seamless transitions....first time im seeing it on a demarcation between products.....he seamlessly weaves in and out that you dont know which one hes playing.

Great video. Very detailed and informative. Would fitting a 5700G in a Streacom FC8 power-limiting the CPU at 65 watts be good for video editting and stream capturing from an external source? Would the Intel I9 be better for that? (h264 codec)

I plan to use davinci resolve, and plan to build a system for it and gaming + NAS, but not necessarily considering discrete GPU. I've heard that there are some news on davinci on AMD. So is it expected to work good on AMD with upcoming CPUs?

I edited all my 3 channel videos with Ryzen 3 3200G with no dedicated GPU!!! It's hard but not impossible. 16 GB ram and above is the main key for these type of CPUs. Thanks for this comparison.

If should rise the size of reserved RAM for iGPU for the Ryzen CPU in BIOS. You'll see a pretty big jump in performance.
Look for NB configuration, then UMA setings.

i9 11900k is 490$ VS ryzen 7 5700g is 310$ and both performance is almost same and if we consider the price factor then RYZEN 7 5700G IS WINNER

Agora é aguardar chegar e ver a diferença.

Meus vídeos de cerca de 30 minutos no premiere estavam demorando cerca de 2 horas para exportar... Não vejo a hora que poder trabalhar melhor!

Very good video I've been looking for a material like this for a long time and I didn't find it. for h.264 and h.265 files quicksync shines w are the most common files on the market. I would love to see AMD's vega with an optimization within Premiere. I'm coming back to Intel because of Quicksync.

I'm looking to buy a laptop instead of a desktop for 1080p video editing. Will the 11th gen with it's Iris Xe iGPU and 16GB Ram be enough? I'll probably just be editing and rendering 1080p video that's about 30 minutes long.
