What if I don't have that bios button on the motherboard

Is there a way to do this if the motherboard does NOT have the flashbios button? My new Asus Prime z690P does NOT have that button.

Back in the day you would need to replace your bios chip or just returning the damn thing to manufacturer for repair.

Nowadays motherboards have 2nd bios in case something like that happens :D

MSI MAG B550M BAZOOKA I have the same motherboard and forgot all about this bios button because when it is in the case it is set back a bit behind the IO shield, good to know it's there if I need it.

I wish this was available back in the day - has anyone else been around long enough to remember the CIH virus? that bugger was a real headache, it mangled the 1st 1k or so of the hdd and totally screwed the bios - back then, some shops just replaced the board and charged the customer - some of us came up with an idea of pulling the bios chip and do a slightly dodgy procedure of hot swapping it in a board that had the same chipset and re flashing the corrupted chip twice - as flashing it once sometimes resulting in a checksum error and fail to run but double flashing seemed to work

Once u turn off the system and put it on again, the date and time stays at the last synchronized time until you connect it to the internet again. How do we solve this?
