I was rank 4 and i went to rank 16 in 30 minutes tysm

This is the big problem cause I’m lv rank 13 and I can’t even get co op I have to grind as for far cry 5 you can just play a few seconds or minutes in the story and get it I hate this part

I'm at AR 19 and my friend just got to AR 16 and unlocked Co-Op. We were so happy we could play with each other until I realized that even though I'm past AR 16 it doesn't let me use it. It lets my friend use it, both of us are confused on why it doesn't let me. Does anyone know what to do? I haven't seen/heard anyone else having troubles with it.
