The French fly-half is so easy to read. She never takes it to the line. It feels lazy. She immediately offloads or kicks. Her backs could do more if she attacked the line. Would’ve put more points on the board.

Women's rugby has reached such a peak of athleticism it's a joy to watch.......except for their kicking of penalties and conversions. Tremoulieres' two relatively easy misses meant losing rather than drawing the game. There has to be a solution as it's a complete embarrassment no matter which team is playing.

'Seat belt' tackle on Lark Davies for the disallowed try? I know it made no difference in the long run, but it might have been questioned, at least, by the TMO. Interested to hear what others think.

Rugby matches are like the bounce of a Rugby ball, if the the French had come away with points from, the first sixteen minutes of pressure, this would have been a different game. As it was when Rowland make a marvellous break and Dow clinically finished, you could almost feel the French wind being knocked out of them, and they were hanging on the ropes till halftime. When they came out they were a different team, must have been some real motivational work going on in the dressing room.
