In Mini Forum UN100L, does the USB3.2 Gen2 Type-C ×1(Alt Data, DP and PD) also support audio?

Ron, I love you brother, but these videos like this kind of bother me. Hear me out please. I'm saying something now because I've seen several videos of yours now that seem like you're promoting them for things they won't really be able to do. I know that, from listening to you in other videos and streams that you don't really emulate modern titles so I want to give you a perspective you may not have thought of. Like, when you're first going over the performance in things like WiiU and PS2, and say things like "fairly playable," when you're testing the absolute easiest to emulate titles (you may not be aware these are the easiest, I realize), but I feel like people are going to buy these things with false hope based on that kind of statement. I know you go into a little more detail further into the video, and others like it, but I really feel like you're still trying to spin it in as positive a light as possible for systems it can't handle. So I have to let you know, if it can only run the easiest to emulate titles at "fairly playable" frame rates, it's not going to run those systems. Truth be told, Gamecube is the realistic top end for this, and even that will be pushing it.
-
So, PLEASE, when you test these things, run some of the hardest to emulate titles first, and let people know how those performed, before showing or comparing the easiest titles. If you're going to spin it in a way that suggests it will run those systems, I feel like people should see both sides of things, you know? Again, I know you don't emulate modern titles much, if at all, so if it helps you out, these are some of the hardest to emulate titles for each system (but also titles that run well if your hardware is capable). Try them yourself, on your desktop rig, and you will see.

WiiU=BOTW / Wii=Call of Duty MW3 / Gamecube=Metal Arms : Glitch in the System or Rogue Leader : Rogue Squadron II/ PS2=Shadow of the Colossus / PS3=BioShock 2 / 360=also Bioshock 2, or Fable II / OG Xbox=Halo 2 / N64=Star Wars : Rogue Squadron / Switch=TOTK or Call of Juarez / PSP=God of War : Chains of Olympus or Midnight Club Dub Edition/ Saturn=Panzer Dragoon/ Dreamcast=Shenmue II.

I hope this info helps you, and others going forward bro, and I don't mean to hassle you, so please don't take it that way. I'm just trying to make you and your audience aware of these things because, if a device will run those titles well, there's no need to test any further. You don't have to test every game, or even a ton of games. It will pretty much work with all compatible titles for those systems if those titles will run well. If it doesn't, you can usually gauge how it will perform by how it does run those titles, or could then move on to testing the easy stuff, and show people the difference. I mean, I'd LOVE it if you said something like, "Yeah PS2 is boobooness on this thing," etc. hahahaha You know what I mean? I just want to see your audience be able to make an informed decision, since most people have no clue about this kind of stuff. Anyway, rant over. I just wanted to make you aware of a certain perspective that your audience may have, and help you out with some info. Thank you Ron and, if you made it this far, I hope this info helps you and your audience going forward.

Most PS2 games will need individual setup/tweaking but, pretty much all can run on this. (I run PS2 on a N5105 X1 SBC and N100 has more grunt)

Always been curious with these little units but always wonder about malware on them. Have you ever ran into issues with these boxes? I've read there are malware on a lot of the android tv units. At least the no name brands.

If you look at the top left of your screen for Mario 3-D world, the emulator is compiling your shaders. This would be causing your frame drops. You want to try and find precompiled shader packs to avoid the frame drops. Most 3D Nintendo emulators have to compile the shader cache on first play, or you have to download a premade one for that game.

You've looked at so many Mini PCs, it might be a good idea to do a video comparing them and giving us your assessment of the best value vs most powerful.

I'm rocking 7600t min pc off ebay for 50 bucks with that exact coinops build. Added pc games and more ps2 games and it rocks. Completely blows pi5 away. 7th gen intel is best bang for buck right now.
