ОтветитьUsing primarily Desktops and a few Laptops since AMD came out. I found issues with Intel. So I am basically “Give me AMD or Death.” Person.
ОтветитьI have an AMD QL-64 processor, 2.1 Ghz, 1800 mhz FSB. It had a speed limit problem, Cod 4 was running at very slow speed with 512 mb Ati. After taking out the 2 choppers with the rockets (located at the bus), the speed increased dramatically. I checked on Cpu -z, the FSB dropped to 1700 mhz, causing the cpu speed increase.
ОтветитьHi!! I’m looking for a computer for my mom… she does office work and internet navigation mostly. No big programs and very light games (like sudoku or like older games)… would you think the dell inspiron 16 AMD Ryzen™ 7 7730U will be enough?
ОтветитьBut ITS AN IPS display 😢
ОтветитьGod broad choices really makes a human restless to end up in one..
ОтветитьSo i have 2 laptops, same price, same everything except CPU and RAM: Intel Core i7 13700h + 16gb ram VS AMD Ryzen 7 7840hs + 32gb ram, never used and, heard some bad rumors ( which i hope are not true ) and i cant decide.
ОтветитьI'm happy with my ideapad 5 pro 14. 7735HS qnd iGPU lasts a whole day, I charge once a day. I have experienced lags but thats me tinkering with skins 😅 and it gets hot when I connect to external monitor and charge (100W propriety charger) at the same time. Still trying to figure out how to manage it. Overall, I love my Lenovo.
ОтветитьAmd still wins when you consider power draw.. It is a much efficient processor
ОтветитьAMD Ryzen is the Winner.
ОтветитьIntel = Efficiency
AMD = Performance
Market Share
Intel (51%) & AMD (49%)
I Prefer AMD
yes very simple decision since they are both garbage(not upgradable or repairable easily)........framework all the way.......:)
ОтветитьAs far as I can remember I always knew that AMD is much better for games than Intel, from the Athalon till now I was always buying AMD. Ryzen is much much better in my opinion than any Intel. Many people made a mistake and try to test one to another but they work so differently, but results when you play games for me AMD was always better than Intel
ОтветитьAMD for me.
ОтветитьIm generally a bit confused by this. On the desktop ryzen uses significantly less power and has higher ipc than Intel. Ive seen a Linus video where they discovered that ryzen based laptops can suffer from horrible ram which impacts performance in the higher double digits. I dont know what it is I just know that something is weird about it.
Ответитьamd tuned to be power efficient and less heat while intel is on performance while causing too much heat the problem is laptop nowadays are thinner and thinner which makes it difficult for heat dissipation.
ОтветитьNow this is the right way to compare! Dont compare them to Apple Silicon coz apple is lightyears ahead!!! Peace 😊
ОтветитьIntel at this moment can not come even close to ryzen its to hot and bad battery life so no way, and it is even more expensive
ОтветитьResuming the video, amd is cheaper so amd, but if same price, would be intel
ОтветитьI remember when AMD was hot garbage….Thanks to Lisa Su for being nerd enough to change that and give us AMD today. To me now it is an either or. Both are close enough in speed.
Intel I do like though as it’s all in the USA it should be a strategic company now for USA.
That would be great if they over Mobile APU with 3D-Vcache....
ОтветитьWhich one is better ryzen 3 5300U or intel i5 1155G7 for gaming I need quick answer
ОтветитьIf you are not a gamer like me that only want a laptop for productivity. I would recommend buying a laptop with AMD because they have a better igpu performance especially the latest model of AMD chipset.
ОтветитьNice video man
ОтветитьIntel was only for the thunderbolt and hdmi support otherwise if the AMD versiob had usb4 and hdmi then i would pick AMD version.
ОтветитьToday i made my choice and picked the Intel version of the same model. Not easy but ur video was helpful indeed because i was choosing between the same two devices! ✌️😉
ОтветитьHey!, I am planning on buying ryzen 3 7320u on the lenovo v15 g4 but i am worried about it's temperature and longevity. What should i do??
ОтветитьMain problem of AMD is no thunderbolt.
So in PC laptops either choose bad, power hungry Intel with Thunderbolt or more efficient AMD without it.
Well no, thanks. Will buy Macbook Pro
Intel iGPU/Nvidia dGPU has much better encoder and decoder for video and better software support in general. I personally still buy Intel.
ОтветитьSir, do you think buying Lenovo's Legion 5 2022 series is a Good idea and which one Intel or AMD?
ОтветитьRyzen 5 5500U vs core i5 11 gen which is better for laptop?
ОтветитьDo you guys prefer R5 4500u?
ОтветитьWhich is better for programming? Intel core or Ryzen?
ОтветитьI'm amazed that anyone would be swayed by a $5 price difference (especially as % of purchase price) when choosing between laptops. I don't know why it is even discussed in these comparisons. To be meaningful, I would be looking for significant, eg 20-30% price diff to be swayed by price. The many bench marks are confusing to me. Is the highest score always the best? Guessing most of your readers would be much more familiar with the benchmarks. I came here hoping for clear direction on battery life. Seems at least for moment, to my surprise, Intel delivers.
ОтветитьScreen problem : I've got a Lenovo Yoga slim 7 Pro 16 ACH6, bought january 2022. Good screen, fast enough when on sector, but 2 USB a and 1 USB C connectors only, poor battery life and now, after just one year, the screen is starting to separate from the top case at the hinge level (right side). Lenovo tells me that this is not to be considered warranted. Has anybody had this king of dafault ?
ОтветитьAs a Mac user I would not consider either as having "good battery life" and simply do not understand how PC users put up with the heat and noise. Long battery life, and dead quiet, cool operation is so liberating.
ОтветитьInteresting, I have had a ton of issues with AMD Ryzen 7 6800U with windows 11 to the point that my laptop is not usable to the work that I do. so I am having to buy a new one. I am not sure if I should risk and get another AMD Ryzen 7 7735U or a Intel Core i7-1360P Processor same laptop but 500 dollars difference in price range.
Ответитьfunny how the i7 beats the ryzen 9 😂 so amd has nothing that can beat the i9?
Ответитьman that lenovo website is still so damn confusing and unsightly
ОтветитьWhat is really impressive is the fact that this AMD CPU has less cores and has not so much difference with the Intel version that has a lot more cores, it is clear that AMD has made its homework: the CPU is really powerful, it is also impressive how Intel has managed to reduce its power consumption for battery life, the clear winner is the final consumer: better products with improved quality. Personally, I prefer the AMD version; in fact I have the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 (2022) and enjoying all the power of this laptop.
Ответитьthat dedicated GPU is completely useless, and it halves the battery on load, hides the efficiency of ryzen.
ОтветитьI have an amd laptop asus right now... intel was sooo annoying! I love ryzen :)) amd... nailed it
ОтветитьI am really curious what the Intel 13 will be like? Any idea if you can use double-sided NVME in either of these?
ОтветитьWould I play the sims 3 on that laptop? I bought the 14-Ryzen with 16 ram and 1 TB version.
ОтветитьI had bought the AMD version of this last summer but was very disappointed with the gaming performance, even with casual gaming it tended to stutter a lot.
I end up picking up a 16” AMD Slim 7 version a month ago with the 6800hs and a 65w rtx 3050 on a 2.5k 165hz panel and have been much more impressed with the overall performance. Gaming isn’t the main reason I bought it, it’s for work usage but like the ability to fire up a game from time to time and this one definitely performs better.
with this fan noise - bad laptops
Ответитьhi guys, question: Why is INTEL
01 Widely used in corporate world up until now
02 Company's don't even shut down the computer for long weeks (e.g. 5 weeks or so) and it doesn't even hang
-does it mean Intel is much sturdy than Ryzen?
-expert / unbias opinion please, thanks
