I just went for my universal nd I did use google for sum answers and I clicked of the epa test tab and my teacher told me my test got flagged should I be worried or is it a re test

my question is what do you use to stidy all the stuff i look for is 2-3 years old i just took mine today passed core but failed type 2 i just need better studying material

Studying for the epa rn take the practice tests until you can take them without missing a question read the prep book and watch videos like these lol my goal is to get my universal epa card first try

I'm coming close to the end of my course. I'd be done by the end of the month. Then I gotta take my 608. Really trying to just get my universal on the first go. I know type 3 is the trickiest. Just been hammering out practice tests, still taking in as much information in at class.

Can I take it online on “faraday” ?? Or is that website just for practice

I just took mine today and failed everything but the Core. It's definitely not easy but I'm looking forward to grinding out this study guide (that i didnt have before) and killin this thing. Wherever youre taking the test, and whoever the test is through, make sure you get the most recent Prep Guide so its up to date with the test.

Update: I passed AND GOT F** UNIVERSAL! LFG!

all I'm gonna say is don't study with esco .. I have been studying for 3 fuxking months and apparently recently they changed the questions from 9th edition to G37 and I fucking failed and allllllllllll that time I studied was for fucking nothing .. hvac is the worst decision I ever made my whole life fortunately I'm only 20 but still I have been in hvac since I was 18 and all I have had were some of the worst experiences of my life .. I try so hard in this field bit doesn't even matter just took a massive pay cut to btw last week that's great :))))) yea my pay went for 28$ hr to 20 amazing 😃 so fuck hvac fuck epa and fuck kook and son those assholes abused me for months... that will be all:)))

I’m in a trade school that my highschool is working with and I been studying for a month and taking a practice test my instructor recommended. I’ve been studying for about 9 days striaght I’m gunna give it till the next week here and then take it. I’ve showed my instructor my scores over the days and he said I should be ready but I wanna take some more time and I’m also 17 years old to and I have three tries to take it. I can take it again next year in 12th grade if I fail so I’m not that nervous but it’ll feel like a big accomplishment if I pass them all.

And I’ll tell you right now . Just taking the practice tests on Esco will not work. You won’t pass . I got 100% on Core - 96% Type 1 - 100% Type 2 and 100% type 3 on my second go at the practice and I still failed type one and two when I took the actual test. You really gotta study hard for it and take your time.

Edit-I passed the second time . Glad I didn’t have to take it for the 3rd - Universal

I used The Training Center out of New Jersey for EPA 608 training and testing. There is a full-scale online prep class, practice tests, and unlimited chances to pass the test. They use Proctor-U so you can take the actual Universal test online.

Proud of everyone who’s passed and have gotten any of the types to universal. I’m studying my book currently and am excited to take my EPA and pass.

I'm type 1 certified cause I passed core and type 1 years ago. I failed type 2 and type 3 by 1 question each and the only reason I failed those two was because those were the only ones I didnt take the practice tests on. So I reccomend taking the practice tests after you study the book. But Good news Roddy I'm back in school for HVAC and my class offers the epa free so I going to put your tips into practice and go for my universal this time

I passed on my first try. I been doing Commercial Refrigeration and HVAC for 10 years now. I tell guys remember them dates of when refrigerant laws was implemented. That seemed to pop up a lot on those test. Where are you located?

I passed mine first try all I studied was the EPA practice test and an Hvac 101 practice test , I did them back to back till I had them all perfect for about a week then I took it. My program offers 3 free tries then it's 25$ if you use them all up to retake.
