I'm just getting started in faceting, I've been welding for 20 years and we use blueprints. This looks like it compares to a welding blueprint.

ОтветитьThank you!!!
ОтветитьThis is the second time I have watch this video, Tomorrow I will be on my journey of cutting my first stone. I thought to myself I should review Mr. Bopie's faceting diagram and to my understanding the chart much better from the last time, I realized I will be wasting so much of my gem from the design I chose to make because the gem is way to big. Thank you for this very important overview on understanding a faceting Diagram. I enjoy your videos very much please keep them coming. Thank you for all your help.
Ответитьthank you so much sir! I appreciate your work very much. I’m super new to the faceting world and I can already tell that your videos are going to be tremendously helpful on my journey ✨✨

Ответитьamazing., i just accidentally found this video series., i was just in there this weekend asking if they knew of any local dealer for faceting machines and if maybe they had an old one they were thinking of replacing., of course they said ., "use the internet., "., well., i don't shop online., but., i would volunteer to work their for free for an internship to their cutter., it has always been a test of mine to walk into expensive stores wearing old work clothes to see the attitude of the front counter., they were at least nice and somewhat helpful even though i was not there to buy stones., just looking for machines., ';'

ОтветитьIf say I have a faceting diagram for cutting a corundum stone but want to cut say quartz to the same design - how would I carry out the conversion of angles to enable me to do it? Thank you in advance. JS.
ОтветитьThank you so much man. I enjoyed learning from yah and im overwhelmed with joy. Once again thank you.
ОтветитьAm loving the way you explain things Sir. So clear and simple. You are a natural born teacher 😊😊😊
ОтветитьDoes the L / W ratio determine the size of the stone?
ОтветитьHi Boppie, found your video really informative keep it going with these brilliant videos.
I particularly interested to do emerald cut for emeralds but some how i found some emeralds which have very less depth how ever length into width ratios are good enough, SO can i able to cut those Emeralds with less depth on the same chart which is available on internet or i need to do special depth calculations to implement those charts for cutting or they still work on less depth stones. i hope you get my quetion
You a perfect example of ecumenism that is the fullest understanding what exactly you are doing, in your this case you definitely know how to explain to a amateur the way he or she should be taught....Thanks for that good effort !!!

ОтветитьVery good explaining Hobby Cutting.. Now help explain using GEMCAD!
Ответитьthankyou..I have purchased my first faceting machine today and hope to pick up this art as a hobbie while im unable to do manual work ..I look forward to next episode..
ОтветитьThanks, this is a great instructional video that I can use to show people who have never cut what it is I actually do and how.
ОтветитьExcellent, simple but complete and very useful for all prospective and new cutters. Well presented and great graphics. Looking forward to Part 2 and maybe more of your videos.
ОтветитьThanks for another great video. I was glad to see that I am not the only one that doesn't understand the volume calculation and how it can be used. I have used it to get a rough idea of the "fatness" of similar designs. More volume equals more weight.
ОтветитьGreat Video. I am going to show this video to a person who has never cut a stone but is interested in learning, this will be a great first step for her. thank you for sharing your knowledge.
